To clock watch or not to clock watch?

36 posts in this topic

I appreciate a woman who explicitly sets a timer a lot more than a woman who says "can you finish up soon?" when there's 25 minutes left in the agreed-to time. I've had both things happen.

I understand the need to keep to the scheduled time. Can I make a suggestion? Create a music playlist about the same length as a session, and start it when the session starts. Then you can remember that when song X starts, we're about halfway done, or whatever. So the timekeeping is less visible.

Also, this post reminded me of this:

I am 20 minutes early for everything, so if you run late we are not a match.

If you book an hour you should get an hour, you should be aware of the time and be respectful!!

Best to avoid the 3G providers.

Manage time/TCB  is the best clock watching that can be done I feel ...

But if you you know you need more time for any reason then you should plan that time amount and not take advantage of said time booked ..

I'm not a watcher but  know  when a hr has gone by ..

What I don't like is when he ask how much time do we have left , kinda kills the mod ..

And a play list is the way to help out if you need to know when hr is up .

I think it is funny when I read "she's not a clock watcher" Umm hate to break it to you, but she likely is and you just don't know it. I for one wear a watch that has a timer so that I can properly use every minute of our session appropriately. If I was "not watching the clock" then chances are your session would end short, and you would not be happy about that. Before I started doing this, I found that my sessions were ending somewhat shorter than what was booked, so I had to find a way to be able to make sure that didn't happen anymore, and the only way to do that is to in fact "watch the clock" As the client, you want the the time you paid for, and as a provider, we want to be compensated for our time appropriately as well, if you overstay, do you ever compensate the lady for the time?

This is soooo extremely important, I cannot tell you how many times, a client has booked a short visit and needed more time, expecting to get it without any compensation. I had a client who did this frequently, and I finally had to tell him that if he could not book a longer session with me, then I would not be seeing him anymore. He made his choice, as did I. I don't like being taken advantage of, especially repeatedly, by repeat clients... Respect our time, and we will respect yours.

As a client I am always respectful for being on time and leaving on time. I’m my own clock watcher as I want to get everything in. First 15 minutes should be get acquainted and on to BJ. 2nd 15 minutes finish pleasing her with DATA. Next 15 is RCG, CG, mish, et al.,  and last 15 repeat what felt good. Leave 5 minutes at end to get dressed and say thank you. Kisses kisses!

Try letting the time unfold organically sometime...it might surprise you to get out of your routine.

We haven't met YET, but that will definitely happen when I'm comfortable with the case positive rate.  It's taking SO LONG..... :(

This!!  The easiest, most parsimonious solution on the planet.

My ATF has a clock in the living room and in the bedroom, both set 10 min ahead of the actual time.  I never asked her why, because we frequently, mutually, go several minutes past the 90 that are scheduled....

Do you always book 65 minute appointments?

Maybe it is just me, but there is no way in hell I could listen to the same playlist over and over everyday.

We’re in this for the long haul doc! I hear Oxford has had some success in the vaccine? 400+ human trials that have shown promising results. Hopefully those guys won’t have an extra limb growing out of their cranium in 5 years :D:D:D and hopefully the vaccine is actually effective since there are now 30+ surface protein mutations that have been seen. Oh so many questions! Not sure if I’ll be the first one to jump in line for that vaccine.

It will be an honor to meet you doc! Can’t wait. You’ll have to explain the HFOV to me... I still don’t get it!

Maybe the girls should just have a big score clock counting down. Then the guys know when to make the last half court shot. Lol.

Actually a lot of girls I have seen have big digital clocks by the bed. I then always know when my session is over.

It's when they set the egg timer right beside the bed.  Ding!  Times up! Out you go.

So that would be a three minute egg?

I appreciate both methods. I often get lost in conversation with a provider toward the end of the appointment. These visual and audio reminders are very useful!

I don't appreciate people who try to get freebies from me, in my business, so I certainly don't want to overstay my time, with an escort! :)

The freebie thing that's a tough one; this examples::

trying to negotiate a sales deal on a "MacGuffin", one could spent an hour or two with back and forth dialog

  1. only to have them walk away with nothing at all.
  2. only to have them purchase an accessory say $20.00.
  3. only to have them walk away with nothing at all.
    • A month later makes it back in to purchase that $35,000 "MacGuffin".

Sometimes you never know....

(12 years ago or so):: I had this happen to me where my boss chewed my butt for taking an extra long lunch break. Explained that I ran into this guy looking to purchase a "MacGuffin" & took the extra time to inform him. My boss took the explanation as "yeah right", a month later the guy from lunch makes it back in to purchase that $35,000 "MacGuffin".

Understand that we are talking Bananas & Peach's here with how much time and effort can be put into a day with the jibber jaber.

Egg timer? Hell, that was the microwave announcing that my chicken dinner was ready to eat.

Honestly don't understand why someone would be concerned if a provider is a "clock watcher"....time is quite literally the business model. Maybe if they're just laying there looking at the clock, sure....but otherwise how they run their business is, well, their business. At a minimum build a good connection and tip regularly before being concerned with how "clock watchy" someone is.

My favorite experiences have been having a lady fall asleep as we cuddled afterwards and me struggling to try to see the clock so I didn't overstay (also didn't wanna wake her). When she did wake and I checked the time she said she "wasn't concerned about sleeping a few minutes over". Another was having one say (paraphrased) "I'm noticing the time but I don't want you to leave yet....can you stay a few more minutes?"....like yes please! Warms my heart to hear such words.

Just find one of those old parking meters.
