Would you, as a provider, like to see this or do you enjoy the surprise?

I always thought it unfair for the guys to see photos of providers but they can’t see us. I know it needs to be that way but I’m curious  how the ladies feel.

They may not schedule,if they saw our faces.

That's why I have never understood why guys would turn and walk and then say  ..."not the woman in the photos". So what if the photos don't match?? I can't imagine what she is thinking before she opens the door. I have never had a lady take a look at me and then slam the door in my face. Instead, they smile and welcome me in and make me feel like they are glad an old fart was on the other side of the door instead of a young Sean Connery. And for that ladies ... THANK YOU!

I would offer that it is the appearance of the dead presidents that attracts them to any of us.  If photos do not match it is, in my opinion false advertising.   I am constantly amazed at they professionalism of MOST of the ladies that do this, but make no mistake, they are not in this for their pleasure (Yes, many enjoy what they do) they are earning a living, plain and simple.

If a Grant is put in place of a Benjamin there will rightfully be quite a problem. Photos need to match, unless it's clearly stated that the photo is not of the lady in question, in which case model releases better have been secured.

i've always admired the ladies side of this equation - the doods get to see pics and make choices under the laws of attraction - and look forward to the experience with someone that they have already been mentally fantasizing about - win win win...

hats off to you ya ladies - who open the door and can't always be thinking, yaayyyy...

Ladies that bait and switch never state that they are not the girl in the photo.

I've seen ads where it was clearly stated that the images were not of the lady but representations of what to expect. I don't have examples to show you. I wouldn't call that bait and switch unless the approximations were way off.

This was standard practice for AMPs.

Representative as close to in approximation is still Borrowing the images from someone else and is not allowed.

I do know some girls screen with a photo of their client. Maybe they weed out some of us by seeing what we look like. I for one, have never sent a photo. You have no control of where it will end up. If something were to happen, I don't need to have a few detectives asking  me questions . After they have run my image through some facial regmcognition software and got my info.

They usually are way off.  That said, ladies have been sued for "borrowing photos " without the models permission.

See earlier comment I made saying that they needed to have the model release in that case. (In other words, need to have the rights to use the image.)

Be real !    No model is going to sign a release to allow an escort to use her photos in an ad. (For the obvious reasons )

Why you are a fan of bait and switch girls is a total mystery.

OK, fine! If you insist... I've put on a few pounds, but I guarantee it's me:

I also agree that ladies should be using their own photos. It is not called borrowing it’s called stealing and I have had to confront a few ladies that stole my pictures and put them on their ads. If they have the other models permission then that is a different story, but as stated above I don’t see why any model would let any other girl use their photos. It is false advertising.

I doubt this is LEO's preferred way of catching someone. Some provider with a photo of you is not really damning by itself, I wouldn't think. They could have stolen the pic from Facebook or whatever. I highly doubt they are going to look at these pics and go chase people down. They have bigger donuts to eat.

If you got caught in person for solicitation however, then having the picture would likely be additional evidence against you though.

I'm not a fan of bait and switch as I've tried to make clear. I'm not a fan of using photos without legal rights as I've tried to make clear. I believe I've seen examples where it was clearly spelled out that the images were  strictly representative yet I believe the images were not illegally used.  A standard model release form, which I've used many times over the decades, typically grants unrestricted usage rights to the holder. I never paid a model without receiving a signed unrestricted usage rights release form. And for what its worth, the usage rights always included edited or unedited forms of the images.

I've used model release forms since the 70s.,with the clear understanding as to where and not where the photos would end up.  Hmm, so are you saying that you license photos of mainstream models to escorts as 'representative " images ?  Hope you paid at least triple scale for unrestricted use.

I was refering to if she turned up dead. Then if they have her phone and are able to get into it, you might be asked some questions.  I didn't mean  if she was busted. But that is a longshot.

The release forms I've used, and every photog I know uses, are for unrestricted use. How much a model is paid is negotiated as part of the agreement, signed before any pics are ever taken. I would never shoot without an unrestricted use clause. How I use the image(s) is completely up to me. Never had a problem as it's boilerplate and strictly legal.

Please explain.

It's pretty simple. Providers, and their associates, cannot use someone else's pictures, for advertising, on this board. Board rules.
