Seems like a majority of working girls here on TOB are in their 30s and 40s, with some heading towards retirement and social security benefits.

So, at what age should a provider retire?

Talk about a beaten to death topic. This has been discussed more times than a bowling ball gets fingered.

I reply to very few posts...but this one is universal.

There is an "age cap," on this poll. 30's, 40's???

Women 35+ have raised their kids, had bad relationships, already are, or now have a chance to be established in what they really want to do; and know themselves; they finally encompass the great, genuine lovers, gentlemen pay money for...IF they have their heads on straight.

OMG-How many of you have experienced, reviewed woman in this industry who or "-" 35, even the younger "20 somethings". They aren't cut out, they don't live life right and don't get it, are burnt out, shouldn't even be here!

1. Like any life choice, if you are burnt out and are going through the motions to earn your rent...it shows! From a retail store clerk to escorting...its time to get out before your market/employer tells you to.

2. There is someone for someone! Again, most of you have experienced or reviewed seeing a provider who lied about age, old pictures, bait & switch! If she truly had the desire, skills and was just plan honest...there is a market for her!

Regardless of age...if you have to go to that extreme to get your phone to ring, make money...you need to "retire".

But if a woman at ANY age truly is in this because she enjoy's people, embraces what she can offer and can still appeal to HER market???

There you go-who can judge.

Retirement is subjective for either gender.

How many men, in spite of their desire, age/shape, would continue to see ladies based on their monthly "retirement budget". AND worse yet, their retirement/pention was based on social perception of no longer viable to a given community after age 40/50??? This industry would be reserved for an elite few?

Providers should get out early at any age if they are in it for the wrong reasons, or can't even comprehend why they are here. Providers should retire AT ANY AGE, when they aren't living right and the dollar means more then integrity does AND it shows.

There is a "formula to being a GFE"

Just my 2 cents

I show up for work every week with a desire to accomplish objectives that will make me and my company successful. Would I show up if they didn't pay me? Hell no! Is it all about the money? Hell no!

When an ASP stops caring about providing for her clients...and it's only about the money...it's time to retire / look for a more inspiring profession.

Needless to say...I didn't vote.

I didn't vote but my .02 cents is if a man thinks its okay to ask me for sex then its okay for me to ask him for some money, don't care what age I am or will be.

I would think when the phone does not ring anymore then it is time.

When they feel like it. I dont think there is an age that should warrant retiring for providers, plenty of the highly reviewed providers here are over 40. If you feel burnt out you should leave, you can always return should you so choose. I left because I was starting to feel burned out and I wanted to pursue other things.

So, at what age should a provider retire?

They should retire when you stop trolling this board, quit leaning on television shows for life experience, and actually develop a real life, that's when.

Like any other career/profession: when want to and can afford to intersect. As far as any magic age, if I am still mobile at 100 I will probably be on the prowl for some cute young thing of 70 to 80 (in addition to 30,40,50 .... get the pic?)

If pulling an all-nighter, probably somewhere around 7:00 a.m. (ho-hum)

It isn't about age. It is attitude, experience, vivaciouzness, sensuality and joy in the encounter.

It should be up to each provider to choose when to retire. Age isn't the main factor. Her being able to make the kind of money that she wants to make often decides this for the lady. If she ain't making the dough she will go.

With that in mind i feel that each and every provider should start planning their exit from this as soon as they turn their first trick. If each lady were to plan their exit and go on to something worthwhile and doesn't come with the social stigma that is attatched to escorting , then they would have goals in place and something to shoot for.

Happy hobbying

I don't think it has anything to do with age. I think most retire when they are fed up with this type of douchebaggery.

Ok, I'll respond to old Two big's question.

"When should a provider retire"?

My answer to that is when I want to, Really. While I am a asp who has reached the magic age of[50/B] 50. I find business to be what I want it to be. Having been blessed with a high metabolism and decent good looks why retire. I get laid and paid as often as I want to. So why retire? So I spec I will be around at the very least a couple more years I will do this until something in my life makes me decide not to. I am sure it won't a guy, as my little ol' heart strings got stepped on for the very last time here recently. So that scenario is out, So really as a "old girl asp" I have no intention of stopping getting paid to getlaid.

Mona- great comment about the bowling ball analogy. Made me grin. How many times have we all had to see ol'two bigs dead horse getting beat on. That ol' horse needs to be turned into glue . He(TH) seems to be intelligent enough, so I am sure he can find another dead horse on the internet, or at the very least a fly with one wing turning circles.;)

And as Jez said, when she's good & ready, which knowing Jez is when her encounters cease to be fun times.

So, at what age should a provider retire?

At whatever age they wish. There's clearly a market across an age range that far eclipses my preferences as a consumer. :o

So being a hooker is not a "worthwhile" profession? What do you consider a worthwhile profession? I thought most of the providers that post on here claim to enjoy what they do, so they should retire when they no longer enjoy what they are doing.

Age is not the issue. A lady should retire when she no longer wishes to provide quality service. Attitude is much more important for me.

So, what is your exit strategy, and how do you intend to support yourself in old age?

Spreading and charging guys hardly qualifies escorting as a profession. No skills, training, etc. needed.

To be truly successful in this industry, there is quite a bit more to it. Few providers take it to the level of a "profession", but there are SOME who do.

I am aware of providers who are doing just fine in their 50s and 60s. Some clients prefer women closer to their own age, and some prefer older..... and others like variety. ;)

I'd still like to know how retiring ladies are planning to support themselves once they do retire.

This would be a different thread I'd like to see the responses to. But for this thread, I agree with Destiny. Whenever they want........:P;)
