From my personal experience, a couple things.  If you have a regular lady that you plan to see again, a custom video for made just for you is a completely different and MUCH more enjoyable experience than generic porn from a porn site.  She talks to you and calls you by name, it is personal, you know her, you remember what the last time with her was like and look forward to the next encounter.  In my case, the vids did not come via OnlyFans but they could have had the lady been a member.  (With a standard subscription obviously the "custom for you" does not apply, but the I know her and look forward to seeing again applies!!)  Each to their own I guess but a huge turn on for me as described.  With fairly limited experience on OnlyFans I can say the quality and type of content varies from I would not waste my time watching it again and wish I had not paid for all the way up to "hot damn, keep posting!"  For a pretty minor charge you can make pretty good use of it as a screening tool - sign up, view, cancel unless it is very hot and you are out just one month fee.  In the meantime you may find info that convinces you to see a lady you are curious about - or decide to avoid at all costs.  Far better than figuring out upon arrival!!

Not necessarily, some of the top ladies have some pretty awkward personalities. But they know they do and don't even care, the things that make it work for them though is that 1) they look good, 2) they created a good following, and 3) they aren't stuck up and just focused on making tokens (money) the best thing a Cam model can do is make actual friends and be active in some way and the tokens will flow from there.... Camming sounds like a complete nightmare to me. I hate cameras. BUT....

I've seen some models who start off nervous and quiet and they start to grow into it and really enjoy themselves.... But it also helps if you get lucky and find at least a couple of those guys that aren't total douche bags and help you out... And there are models that help each other out also. Its similar to the hobby world, where some of you ladies look out for each other and help each other out and some don't... Not all Cam models do everything on their own they reach out to each other and even the guys with tech experience help the ladies with their online issues and advice from their experiences over the years

From all I’ve read & heard, most are contagious (shedding virus) for several days before they start showing symptoms.  This is part of the insidious nature of Covid19.

I figured I've watched enough Cam girls over the years and seen how successful they CAN be and how some I've watched  progress, that I was able to at least try to be helpful and encouraging for some of the ladies on here that may be struggling or looking for other options in this time.... Even if some ladies may want to try and venture into the Cam world for just temporary until things get better. And I don't know if I already mentioned it, but at least on mfc (last I knew at least), and I believe chaturbate as well, you DO have an option (as a model) of blocking certain areas from being able to see your Cam. For example if your from Texas, you can block anyone in Texas you may not want to come across you (such as family/friends), or if you want to keep things separate you could block say Colorado (where you live)....

I'm highly skeptical that camming would be very effective around here. The guys here are used to one on one real deal and the ladies are used to way more money for their time than what I would expect camming  to generate. OK...some money is better than no money and a few guys might go for it...but I'm still skeptical.

I'm in this for face to face companionship.  COVID-19 has changed so much of daily living that I've taken for granted, both at work and in my personal life.  Cam shows just don't do it for me, but "different strokes for different folks".   The economic impact on the ladies must be tough.  I'm not sure when this will change for the better and am thinking of some ways to weather this storm.  Bottom line is....this sucks...and not in the good way.

 I'm personally making a mental note of the providers that are STILL booking appointments during this pandemic and will make sure I don't book with them. Nothing against face time meetings but I still see ads where you can book physical appointments.
