Posted March 25, 2020 Plan B: Once the airlines and southern borders are back open (prolly by, or before Easter), I'm hopping on a plane to Costa Rica to get my fix. Plan C: Once a treatment is identified and verified (prolly summer or thereabouts), It'll be back to bidness as usual, if not continue with Plan B. About 80% of my investments were in t-bills, treasuries, and gold so I'm hoping to still have some disposable cash. And hopefully the stock market rebounds to at least 80-90% of pre-virus levels. Too much work prevents me from enjoying myself. As for being selfish, I am not sure that is the correct word. You are assuming anyone you see, will have it. Only like 50,000 confirmed cases out of a country of 350 million, as of this minute. Some of the things I do could just as easily kill me at a greater percentage, every day at work alone. If they don't kill me, well I would be forever unable to hobby most likely. Yet I go in every day. This hobby carries risks that we all understand. This is just another one added in. So I plan to go into work every day. When my projects are done, I will have the time and funds in a few weeks. Which is no different than what I have always done. Thats my general practice regardless of the coronavirus pandemic What the OP was asking about was alternatives to in person appts. Pay services in place of in person appts. Many ladies and gents are turning to these due to the social distancing recommendations.
