Posted August 7, 2019 A nice Moto Guzzi California Touring. Just one of the most purely beautiful bikes I've ever seen. As for celebrity... that changes regularly. Right now, maybe Paget Brewster, or Anna Faris.

Posted August 7, 2019 This was my first car that I paid for myself. I was 16 and working at a CLARK station after school. I still remember my dad taking me to the ladies house and her pulling it out of the garage. I handed her $375.00, and drove it home. The licence plate was 8303TS. I didn't even know what a 409 was then.

He was offered 28 K and turned it down.

He constantly beat Goats (GTOs) from the line. His claim was that unless you were a professional driver the auto would shift faster than a manual.

We took a two speed powerglide, put waffle clutch plates in and it would hit harder than a turbo 400 with a shift kit.
Posted August 9, 2019 (edited) I had a co-worker with a GTO who rerouted the windshield washer to the carburetor intake and filled the reservoir with alcohol. 😁 I also have a classmate who showed his RAV4 at our 50th reunion. The back was filled with nitrous tanks. Said that he had to frequently replace the transmission. Edited August 9, 2019 by Bit Banger Added anecdote
Posted August 9, 2019 I'm definitely my grandfathers' granddaughter. I have 3 choices for cars with unlimited money: ANY TYPE of funny car build would be a DREAM. Getting to go that fast down the track would be amazing. 1991 Fox Body. LS of course. With everything done. If the front 2 wheels do not come off the ground during a launch at the track, I mean are you even living? OR a 1940's Chevy Stepside pickup. That would be a good build to do. My grandfather used to race older mustangs as well as trucks. I was a little too young to remember too much. Celebrity: I second @Kaduk with Gal Gadot, she is just perfect. Or maybe Ashley Graham.
Posted August 9, 2019 Sold my dream ride last year. Ford F450 diesel, crew cab, dually, 4x4, 4.30 rear end, B&W tow body w/5th wheel hitch Only got 6-7 mpg, but pulled a 19,000# trailer like it wasn’t there.
Posted August 9, 2019 (edited) Out of all the cars I’ve had: 68 Chev short bed step side, 56 Ford Crown Victoria, 56 Chev 2 door hard top, 64 Impala super sport convertible, the one I miss the most was my 64 GTO Convertible. Less than 3,500 were made. Edited August 9, 2019 by ilovewomen
