I have noticed one thing that is positive about the new site is that alot more ladies are at least logging on to tob and alot more are actually posting now. Posted September 8, 2015 I'm very happy with the new platform. Much better on mobile devices. Providers seem to be posting more pix too. The proposed fees (for readers/clients) for next year are IMO very reasonable. I suppose management could still move towards selling ad space like ECCIE but the costs (again for readers/clients) are next to nothing for what's being provided.The only cons I'm seeing are related to ads and reviews - data/stats/links still annoyingly flaky for me. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted September 8, 2015 It feels like overall traffic of posts is down, but it's too soon to tell and of course I'm just looking at the forums as a user, not looking at actual data. Posted September 8, 2015 There does seem to be less posting over all, although I don't have evidence to back that up. The old site is gone so we can't go back and count. One thing I really like is the reference option. I however have only had 1 guy ask me for one. WHY aren't you guys using that more? The whisperer is being very generous with the time period before he/she charges for that option. SO, what is the deal guys? Are you trying to figure it out still? do you not see a point? Posted September 9, 2015 I like the general format, but I am still waiting on reviews to be linked to my name, and be able to post an ad referring to the correct person....I know it'll happen eventually so I'm still sitting out on this one. In fairness this is a carry-over cluster fuck from when escortboards wouldn't allow me to use a certain email address due to 69 being part of my email addy, so I had to change everything (P411 etc) over to a new email. I don't think the email ever got switched in the review link, even though I haven't used it in a year and a half, so totally makes sense that this would happen. I also think the references thing is great. You guys really should get on that. My guess the reason most aren't using it is because they are P411, or are already well known. The membership and general views seems to have decreased a fair amount since the switch over. Like federal reserve notes, they are recognized and accepted by providers in all markets in the US. I can hobby with them in Florida, Minnesota, California, Texas, etc. And, I have a good number of them.The TOB references are only good in Colorado. They are not recognized by providers everywhere. It will take me years to get the same number of references here that I have on P411. And they are a duplicate of what I already have on P411. Even if I decide to stay and pay, I just can't see the value. Maybe someone can explain why a TOB reference would be superior?Addendum. I HAVE requested and received a reference from a provider here, to try it out. But when I check my profile, I can't see that I have one. Is this a statistic that is only viewable by providers? I prefer the P411 yes-or-no system. If a provider wants to know more about me, I'd rather them talk to each other than have them peruse the bulk of my posts here.
