Posted October 6, 2012 Is it just me or am I the only one who gets turned off by escort ads where the escort pics are of her scowling? What's wrong with at least one picture smiling? Don't get me wrong I like tasteful pictures of ladies looking like a tiger that's about to eat me or that looks like she is very serious about what she does but some of the ads make these girls look like they're pissed off at the whole world. Are they trying to imitate the intense looks you see in a professional Playboy or Penthouse photo or are they really just pissed off. It just leaves me with the impression that they really don't want to be an escort and that if I went to see her she'd just go through the motions, would be in a hurry, and hate every minute of it. Of course, most of these ads are on BP and are shot with a cell phone which doesn't make for the best pictures but, hell, as Steely Dan sang, "smile for the camera, you know I'd love you better." As a footnote, Naughty Destiny knows how to shoot a picture without a smile (as many other of you fine ladies do - I mention her because she was the first one that came to mind) but she also has some great pics of her smiling. That tells me that she's a hot lady in a sweet girl's body but if she didn't ever smile I'd wonder what's wrong with her world. Just sayin... 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted October 6, 2012 Thank you for the complement. I believe that most of the ladies that do not smile in photos are trying to achieve that "seductive look". Whether or not they are actually able to achieve that look is a whole different story. As to seductive, they may be trying to get a seductive look but it usually ends up looking like they just sucked on a lemon or bit their tongue. A smile goes long way and there are ladies that I might visit if they had at least one smiling pic. Without one I'm afraid I may end up tangling with a pit bull - not my idea of a good time. There was one lady who I thought was hot but always serious, then I stumbled upon one of her smiling, what a difference a smile can make, sexy and fun. Posted October 7, 2012 Imho its not just escort adds. Women in the u.s. are not all that inviting. Its why I love travelling to the Ukraine. All the women smile and make eye contact. I think maybe they are shooting for a seductive come hither look and missing the mark. Some of them look downright pissed! I call it the I Hate Men Now Let Me Play With Your Junk look. Posted October 7, 2012 I accord. Photos are the most important aspect of advertising in this business. Sharp, clear photos in different attires , backdrops , different moods is key in this cyber age escorting. I guess only a professional photographer with specialty in glamour can guide and do justice. Posted October 7, 2012 I think if she doesn't smile, her face should convey some type of emotion. She should look like she is thinking deep thoughts, or she is having a serene moment. I have a friend who has a portrait on her ad. She is looking directly at the camera. She looks like all her attention is on you. That's how she is, in session. So her photographer "got" her when he took that pic. The worst thing a provider can do is have a face pic with a vacant look on her face. Most clients seek some type of connection. How can you have a connection with someone who is not present? Every photo shoot should have a photographer, a stylist, and a hairdresser. Make sure you are clear on how many looks you will get at a shoot. I recommend 1-2 lingerie, 1 "peek-a-boo", 1 cocktail look, 1 chic day look, 1 formal, and 1 themed. Posted October 7, 2012 Scarlett in COS has one of the most sincere and inviting smiles on BP. A genuine smile is what separates the attractive ASPs from the attractive ASPs that I'll actually call. My reasoning is simple. If they can't get into their photo shoot enough to smile, how much do I think they'll actually get into the session. I've called a few in the past who weren't smiling and once, I got to the session, it became obvious why. Missing teeth. What a turn-off. Agree, seems its escorts and weddings that are the two toughest genres of photography where its nearly impossible to get a smile out of the person in front of the camera.
