You may have answered your own question.  Times have changed and for many good reasons.  It is perfectly acceptable for woman to require any/all of these:

1) A photo ID

2) A matching selfie (and not of your dick)

3) Your real first and last name

4) Your real phone number

5) Your Linkedin

6) Your business website

7) references from other providers

8) To see your covid vaccine card

and deposits and cancellation fees.

Just to let everyone know, who doesn't know.  Us ladies have to provide our ID to be verified and even place an advertisement. On some sites in addition to our government  ID, we have to hold up a hostage type sign with our name and date on it, and take that selfie and send it in. The selfie and the ID have to match or we are not verified. As for the paper trail, bummer for you.  Us ladies have to use our real credit card to pay for advertisement on most sites, with the threat that if the name on the credit card doesn't match the name on file we will be banned.

If you don't approve of a ladies screening method, just find someone else. There are plenty of men out there that have no problems agreeing to our terms, to see us wonderful ladies.

While I agree that you have every right to ask for those things, there are many clients that simply can not risk the kind of paper trail you are demanding.  Add to these demands the ever increasing rate for service and I suspect you will see a huge drop in contacts.  Yes, it is true that your expenses have gone up, but so has the clients, and unfortunatly, not everyone can simply raise thier pay to compensate. The new legislation increasing penalties will also have an impact on both providers and clients.

Your entire last post was telling us how you think we should run our business. You suggesting that we are pushing away potential clients by our screening requirements, donations, deposits, cancellation fees is completely wrong, and I certainly hope no woman reading this believes this!!

These men that don't want to follow our screening is nothing that is being "pushed" away,  they are people that we would not want to see in the first place. Hence the term "screening". 

Your concern over a paper trail, because of your fear over getting caught by LE or a SO, is truly the clients problem. No one is forcing you to see an escort. And again find someone that doesn't require it.

I don't require a deposit, and that may change soon.  I can be sensitive and have every right to. I absolutely require real name, P411, references, and Linkedin , business websites, and real phone numbers for men that are newbies. If I get assaulted as many woman have, I will have that man's name to give to the police!! And who knows maybe this is why some ladies are asking for photos, for just that reason to give to the police if they are assaulted.

Like I said, times have changed.

Covid vaccine is also required by me, so Mustang the majority of what was listed I require. Again, if a woman wants a photo or deposit it is her choice, and no we will not lose clients.

Its real simple. If you are uncomfortable with the screening requirements, move on.  Lots of good choices here at the TOB Superstore.  Personally, I would never give personal info or a photo.  Im not judging providers who require that - I just wont be seeing them.

Random thoughts after reading all the above:

If you don't want to create a rate thread or divert a thread  into a rate thread, don't use the word "rates" and then talk about it.

We all have our own level of need for security and discretion.  I am way more comfortable about some things than many because I have no wife/SO, no boss, can't be fired, can't be leveraged/embarrassed, and if family disowns me, well with the ones that would disown, it would be no loss.  But loss of all that could happen for some if anything goes wrong. If so, maybe you should think twice about participating in this "hobby".  For ladies it can be a similar list of risks but with the added one that kind of trumps the rest - risk of physical assault resulting in serious injury or worse.  Yes, there are predatory assholes out there (and occasionally on this board and every other board) whose thing that gets them off is being violently abusive to a prostitute.  I have heard of too many such experiences.  I can't imagine any lady that is aware of this risk (isn't a newbie) not using pretty strict screening, but each to their own comfort.  I am willing to say hopefully that most guys here are no threat, but no matter rare or not it is, it only takes one.

No matter what my needs for discretion are, they do not change the lady's needs.  And no matter what she needs to feel comfortable it does not change my needs.  We just both need to be clear what our needs are and if they overlap, fantastic!  If they do not I wish her well and move on.

Yes, of course strict screening, deposits, real name, etc. will lose a lady some customers. But there are some clients that it is a good thing to lose!!  And not all ladies want a lot of customers, just a few good ones.  Again, everyone is different.

How willing I am to give up information depends a lot on who I am talking to.  One of those "damn she is hot, maybe I will take one for the team!!" ladies versus a well known, reviewed lady that I know is legit - two entirely different things.  Adjust your search to meet your needs.  I would assume some ladies adjust how many items on the above discussed list apply as well.  

I get nervous about seeing any lady that does not screen or does only very lightly.  Why?  Because how concerned can she be about my safety if she isn't concerned about her own?  If she isn't very concerned about safety and discretion there inevitably will be lots of drama I do not want to get dragged into.

Hello Nikki! Welcome to Colorado Isn't that amazing. We do see politicians, movie stars, musicians, people widely in the media eye. Everything to lose, and they don't whine about screening. If anything, they immediately inform us of who they are, because a confidentiality agreement is put in place. At that point they have our real identity too. 

There are actually many incredible men on TOB, and I hope they show how wonderful hobbying in Colorado is!

I wouldn't retire based on this alone, just move on if you don't agree with the terms. 

Risk appetite is very subjective on both sides of the table.

TOB offers its users the ability to build a reputation and I think is part of what makes it so special. If I were an established hobbyist I would expect my references & forum presence to be enough for most providers, I might even feel offended if it wasn't. That's neither here nor there for me as I'm more newbie than veteran.

I am still surprised by  potential clients objecting to the ladies insisting on screening, verification and references.  My circle of playmates has always required complete verification of any unknown participant. Our play requires absolute trust. The scenarios and playtimes can not be fully enjoyed unless all involved feel completely safe. Anyone new to our circle or returning to our circle is thoroughly screened. That applies to females, couples and especially the rare single male. Even the slightest hesitation to screening or providing a reference will almost certainly result in a polite but firm denial of participation. That need to feel safe must be the same here.  Honestly,  how can either party relax and really get into playtime without being as sure as possible that they are safe? If you are arranging a playtime with a young lady why not take all necessary steps to insure both of you have a fun time? Just my 2cents worth.

People have pretty strong opinions on this forum.  I think the problem is everyone tends to be unfiltered when you don't have to talk with someone face to face. People can be very critical on this forum. It's been that way since day one when I signed up. It's not really a free exchange of ideas or thoughts. Someone is always going to hammer on you, no matter what side you take. More tolerance would be nice to see.
