So yesterday I made an appointment with a provider that has all yes references with good comments. Great communication but upon getting there she is running late and offers a friend which I decline and decide to wait for her. No problem at all on my end as things happen as well all know. Anyway......as I am waiting from a very tactical position, 2 Sheriff SUV's move into the lot and I am out of there telling the provider what's going on.  Driving off another Sheriff car was headed down the road towards the incall. Quite fast I'd add

I am not saying it was related to this provider but I got to wondering about the whole incident. When I got home I did a Google search of the number and it pulled up multiple listings (yea I should've checked that prior). I guess if I had a giant set of balls I would've walked on in Lol.

I had a provider walk out of hotel to meet me and started talking to police, waved me to go inside, I waited 10 min and she came in. No issues just flirting with the police, so probably not what you thought

Yes. I went to a casino a month ago. There were multiple jurisdictions parked at the front entrance. Exactly where I was supposed to meet her,  because you just couldn't take a elevator to her floor. I walked in the door and right past them to her. My first visit with her.

First off, LE isn't going to be out in plain view.  They stay out of site. They are going to have unmarked units until they make an apprehension.  A lot of big chains don't allow stings. It sends a bad impression to other guests. Plus if something were to go wrong and an innocent quest were injured, the lawsuit would be in the millions. Just to arrest a few Johns on misdemeanor charges. Not worth the risk.

Good points.  I've gotten in the habit of looking for unmarked cars prior to entering.

There is a long time poster on the KC Eccie boards. His handle is a Unique Carpenter. He has a lot of inside hotel knowledge and is on the road do different states all the time.  Some kind of consultant apparently.  This is what he has stated many times. I would tend  believe him because he has some grapevine knowledge. Tips guys off to some of the lower end motels.too,  from time to time about  le acctivity.

I am not saying they might not visit a girl posting ads.

I meant that if your going to catch people, you will be as invisible as possible.  Marked cars and uniforms would tend to scare off  their targets and they wouldn't catch anyone.

As for the big higher end chains, insurance is what would determine if you let them run a sting. What if a gun was discharged during a sting and hit a innocent child. The hotel chain would be sued because they allowed armed officers on the property. Who do you think the plaintiffs would go after the most. The hotel or the city? Which is why he says the high end chains doen't allow this. Insurance.

When I worked in the hotel industry many many years ago, we didn't care about the working gals. When I first stated in the hospitality business, the ladies would set at the hotel bar, as time progressed, the guests who where looking for company where handed an copy of the Oyster... then came along the internet and my tips for pointing guest in the right direction dried up. At that time we knew the working gals and they where treated like co-workers.

The hotel did have stings with local law enforcement when it came to dealing drugs. They would always park in the back and take those arrested out the back or through the employee entrance. When the patrol cars would park in front of the hotel guest would always ask "whats going on?". Usually they parked in the front while they used the restroom or got a cup of coffee. If they where called out for an issue such as a drunk in the bar or a domestic issue in one of the rooms, they would park out front but when they where working a sting or keeping an eye on something, they would always park in the back.

I know many here advise to "trust your your instincts, intuition or spidey sense."   That may be true for some. However, decision making research has repeatedly demonstrated that intuition results in consistently poor choices.  We are, as Dan Ariely says, "predictably irrational,"  when left to our own instincts.

I've been at a hotel with a lady and we stepped out to get something eat and saw another well known lady standing outside talking to LE. Got a laugh out of that.

Another time we were checking into a hotel and several LE were running all over the hotel looking for a boyfriend of a lady staying there for a complaint of assault on the lady.

Years ago I was meeting another lady at her hotel and when I pulled into the parking lot I saw 2 separate LE cars and the officers were inside talking to the front desk.  That one spooked me as I was fairly newbie at the time. Went through with the appt and nothing bad happened.

But if you get too spooked, trust your senses.

Especially. Emotionally charged decisions are especially likely to come off the rails.

I was just wondering if you had any facts to back up your claims. Misinformation can be harmful. Especially if you're giving soneone a false sense of security. I hear things all the time that are false. One I've heard is the police don't do stings at incalls...because of a long list of reasons similar to what you are saying. The fact is, they do. They bust incall ladies all over the country. To me your argument doesnt make any sense, because they bust ladies a major hotel chains, and their SO's/drivers. Why would it be any different for clients?

LE can be at a hotel for any reason ... I don't get to worried wen I'v seen them out in the parking lot

I just keep to myself and don't  ask any questions and just keep on walking and acting like I have no care at all

Best place to hide is in plain site .

THE PROBLEM IS.... my spidey senses are driven by the same biological imperative as all of my other senses, and are therefore no more reliable:

You’ve been around since 2011 and you should know better than to put yourself in that situation.

Paranoia? Yea well 2 DCSD Sheriff SUV's racing into the lot with another cruiser hauling ass to the hotel would probably spook anyone with half a brain. Her references were good on TOB. Thanks for your......input.

If her references were good you should’ve had to worry.  LE is all over hotels for various reasons and I’m a bit surprised you haven’t had an encounter like this before.

Just curious: Has anyone actually been cuffed?  I remember I got stung back in 1990 in a "street" sting. Undercover chick said pull around the back of the hotel sweetie and bang, I got a citation and had to pay $140 bucks 2 weeks later in court.    Kinda of like just a traffic ticket.

It would definitely be a bonus to be cuffed😉

I was walking in to a hotel on a date, walked in the front door, and there in the lobby is my date (a regular ATF), talking to a cop in full uniform (gun, vest, baton, the whole getup). I try not to break character, so I didn’t run, and started to walk past her without any reaction, when she grabs my arm and says to the cop, “Meet my accountant, he says he can get me some money back from the IRS.”  I stick out my hand with a quick “nice to meet you.” He says to her, “good luck.”  Off we went, me sweating bullets. I know nothing about accounting, so I was glad he didn’t ask me any questions.

Up in her room she explained that the cop was looking for a drug dealer and was asking her if she had seen him, when I walked in. We then had some great adrenaline-fueled fun. To this day she still makes accounting jokes about sex.

What a long strange trip it’s been...

Just goes to show that it’s not all about you(generic) and the nefarious activities you have planned.

My general rule of thumb: If there are LEOs hanging about in uniform, it’s not a sting operation.

A few months as I was leaving a hotel, after seeing a provider, two police car pull up to front of hotel.  Trying to keep my cool I continued walking to my car as if nothing was going on.  When  I got to my car I couldn't get it open and I started to panic.  Then I realized I was at the wrong car, my car was three down from there.  Almost had to go home to  change my clothes
