Posted January 8, 2019 With the current climate it requires owners/users to make difficult decisions. TOB has made a decision to require companions to prove age and that they are independently able to purchase listings for themselves. IMO this is a great call because it shows a certain level of class and human respect. I applaud this decision. Unfortunately, the only way to prove these things requires releasing personal information. This personal information is in many cases less than most ladies require in screening. Is handled internally by one individual and the information will then be removed and deleted. Since the changes there are many sites that are now requiring this same information and these sites do not have the solid reputation as TOB. The sites that are not YET asking for this information seem to continually go offline. This is a very personal decision for each of us ladies to make and I respect each and every single one of you. When I had to make the decision it was pretty simple for me because this is my livelihood and this site has solid roots and has never, not once let me down. I might not have always gotten the outcome on things I had hoped for but it has always been fair and STABLE. If any of you ladies are approached by an individual or group to help you circumvent this process please reach out to admin immediately. Posted January 8, 2019 Knowing that Tob has established these parameters to ensure the safety of all involved is very reassuring to me. My understanding of the information required is very similar to what I have had to provide when being screened. Posted January 8, 2019 The way I look at it, it keeps our community safe from A) Individuals that are not looking out for the well being of others ( would elaborate but not sure it's allowed) B)Agencies that may not be very honest with their posts C) LE and others trying to take away our right to do what we do. I have had nothing but great experiences on TOB, and would like it to stay the way it is for as long as possible. I have participated in other boards and have had many not so great experiences with the moderators and clients...but here I have been treated with the utmost respect. I appreciate what is being done for the reasons it is being done... And hey, there are A LOT of other people that have all of the same info I provided as well... That being said I know a lot of the Ladies already, but for some that I don't, gives me a little more trust in perhaps seeing them. In order for me to be verified I give up that info to depending on who it is. I'm glad to see this policy, it does make me more comfortable knowing they're at the very least verified by identification. It's true that it was not an easy decision, but I also have trust in TOB as I feel like I have been treated fairly. It's just the way that the better sites seem to be swaying with today's climate. I'm not sure I could survive without the great friends and wonderful experiences that I get to enjoy from here. I love you guys! Some of the ladies that you are used to seeing around may not be in a position to provide so much personal information. They(TOB )have to adhere to new laws which is very understandable. I trust TOB.... as Laci said, if any other group tries to approach me ,i will immediately reach out the admin asap!!! These people have done nothing but SUPPORT THE FUCK out of this dysfunctional ass group of ladies and gentlemen and keep us all in line at the same damn time! Im kinda glad theres not a plethora of listings of random pictures of super models porn stars and other random stolen pics from who knows where across the pond! Gentlemen have to do similar with ladies to verify. So to know the lady has been verified too offers a little bit of comfort. I think it is a good move, though I also understand that some fine ladies will choose to not verify for their personal privacy and I get that. Each person has their own level of risk. I do believe TOB is being safe with collecting and disposing of the data as i have found this place to be much more of a 'family' than other sites. I can't speak to the others but I do feel the heads of tob legitimately have everyone's best interest in mind. Let's be honest, even though some great ladies will choose to not continue, sadly, I think there is an element of this business we don't talk about, and this will help keep that element out. I love the folks here, guys and gals and hope we can keep this a ongoing and safe community to interact and have some fun. Thanks for bringing this up. It is a tough but positive move in this changing time. Posted January 8, 2019 In today’s climate, our little family needs a platform of stability and safety. TOB has always been there for the ladies as well as the gentlemen to provide this platform. In an effort to continue being here for us, from what Laci is saying, the ownership of TOB is taking extra steps to ensure that our family is safe from outside influences that could cause harm to our community. One of these steps is the verification of the ladies that they are who they say they are. Apparently one way of doing that is requiring the ladies to provide personal information that verifies they are of age and not managed by others , and will be discarded once they are verified. Just like some of the men who wish to see a lady is not prepared to provide the screening information, I understand some of the ladies may not be comfortable to provide the screening information to be a verified lady. I understand that and accept their decisions. There are things I've seen which at times really get my blood boiling but the one thing I see more than anything else is the desire to help one another. I have seen "the bad asses" melt and have a heart of gold. I've "seen a group" that will fight each other tooth and nail but if someone new or an outsider attacks, this dysfunctional group bands together to "protect its own". There is a trust amongst you. TOB is a family. There is an underlying trust within this community, it protects its own. For the Mods to require sensitive information in order to protect itself and all of the members, this should not be fought but welcomed. I'd have no problem having to provide the same information to the Mods as that which is being asked of the Ladies. It's a verification that is my understanding that will be checked and then deleted. Posted January 8, 2019 I was one who came from BP I started there not knowing anything and 2 months later I had to go somewhere, I read the forums , I educated myself I may have made a few mistakes but bottle line I feel safe and thoroughly have loved the last 8 months since I’ve been with TOB. It wasn’t even a question when asked for information I fully 💯 support this site and everyone I am in contact with. Posted January 8, 2019 Considering a major reason why the new laws were passed and causing the adult section of CL and BP to shut down entirely were the accusations of trafficking of minors. Whether these were based on truth, they the major reason for the push by LE to persecute those sites. Age verification should have been a requirement by all adult services sites long ago and much of the grief that’s happened recently could have been avoided. Posted January 8, 2019 It honestly makes me feel good as a human being knowing that all the ladies who are on this site are of age to give legal consent, and are making decisions based on their own free will, and handling their own financial and marketing affairs. I feel fortunate that I found a place like TOB to call home. This is what I love to do, and this is where I love to do it, and you are the people I want to be doing it with. Through all the ups and downs, all the bumps in the road this last year, they're still here for us to hobby on together. Posted January 8, 2019 (edited) It was a easy decision for me to send my information as I felt safer knowing that the site was going to clean up a bit on the advertising. Clients are appreciative that the girls who are advertising NOW are legit. I personally don't miss all the ads just by looking at them knowing that this girl is either 17, a serious drug addict or being pimped. My thoughts were farewell and go find somewhere else to corrupt. I've been around for a long time and am appericitave to the moderators and the people that keep this site up and running. Quite sure that no one wants any part of a provider that is performing a service under pressure or coercion from another person. Will be nice when TOB is a resource for other areas that I travel.
