You can "be over" anything you want, but until the earth stands a little more upright winter will still be here.

Lived here all my life...can't remember a time when snow was on the ground for six weeks. Even when we had 24+ inches. Yup. Ready for a change.

An upside to all the bad weather is that the water bottles that are rolling around on the floor of my car are always nice and cold.

Well, now they're all frozen so that bit me in the ass.

The up side is, I can leave the drinks in the garage and not have to get them cold in the fridge first.

I am so ready for sundresses, and to sit in my 🐝 bee garden. And a warm spring rain.

Wouldn’t you know it.  I shoot my mouth off and you folks sent me a dose of winter weather.  It was 40 this morning🥶

At least this wasn’t Valentine’s Day, 2020. We lost power for 3 days, water for 5, and huddled under the blankets with the dog & cat.

I remember 48+ one year. They brought equipment in form DIA, to clean the snow up at Windsor Gardens. We had to point the snowblowers almost straight up to clear the sidewalks. Some drifts were over out heads.

I can recall several storms with 24" or more. The biggest was 32" when I lived in the country east of Castle Rock. Stuck at home for 4 days until the County plow made it to our road.
