So I've been through episodes 1 and 2.

Despite the obvious opulence of the settings and the attractive ladies, the bouncing back and forth between her legal job and the dates she is having really emphasize the "its a job" aspect. Combined with the overall  colorless and somewhat somber lighting, it is having an interesting effect.

 

It's a real boner killer.

Fish, figure out how to create a fishing business,. Use the one in seven rule, close the business at 5 years and get a refund for four years at least.

So you have not received a "refund" since 2006?   That is a GOOD thing.  

After filing my "return" this year,  I had to write a check for $500.   The Gov't didn't' get to use my money for free this year!!!

 

Back to the topic,  what is Starz?    Just dropped cable TV.  Never paid for the "premium" channels.

Too funny. OK have not seen it. I will take your word on it. Besides , I don't need a TV show to tell me what a girlfriend experience is. LoL! I I've based my whole business on GFE.

Another one I tried to get into is YoumeHer. Watched a few episodes, then after that started to fast forward my DVR to see if there were any juice stuff. The reality is there was none....

I liked well enough to watch through.  It had a lot of potential but was pretty poorly done early and never fully recovered.  My biggest complaint is pretty much my complaint with virtually every damn show on the tube any more - no one to root for.  Call me an antique but I like a good guy/lady - at least one - to sympathize with and identify with.  Way too many shows leave me with "yeah, you are all ass holes, so what?"  Oh, and as far as the billing "most adult show on tv" - not so much.

I watched it, but have to admit all it did was give me a better appreciation of our CO gals.  This woman came across to me as cold as ice.  I prefer my GFEs to at least smile once in a while and act like they're enjoying it.

I'm up to about Episode 6.  From my client perspective, there are some aspects that seem real.   But like the story "Moby Dick", it's not about the whale.  Of interest now  . . . . client left a will giving her -- using her stage name -- $500k.  If and how will she deal with this when released in public record?

So, reviving this topic as I've binge watched most of the first season over the last few days.

It's an interesting show, I guess, but there's no way I buy this girl as a $1000/hr escort.  She's not unattractive, but she's also not walk-into-a-pole gorgeous.  The main thing is that so far in the season I can count on one hand the number of times she's smiled and I don't think she's actually laughed once.  99.5% of the time the expression on her face is like she just found out her dog died, completely lifeless.  There's no way I would pay for her company.

Secret Diary of a Call Girl is by far one of my favorite shows of all time. It originally aired on British TV. It's smart, funny, and most of all realistic. It was adapted from a book of the same name. I love the show because it is a true depiction of the highs and lows of being a working girl. I relate to Belle/Hanna a lot. You can watch it on Showtime on demand.
