They are a mixture of both and all too often hijacked, and many of the more entertaining/funny/relevant posts hidden somewhere in the maze at the top of page or buried by certain handles and their three word genius responses (seemingly intended to disrupt). Well if you and your friends are trying to keep providers rates at 350/hr or less for the last 20yrs, while you and the same friends have enjoyed your salary increases for the last 20yrs, then yeah that's Crazy. 🙄 Sorry @Bootsce this is ONE of the reasons why the threads go off the rails, because of the clients that are still doing what they can to keep our pay capped for FOREVER apparently. Providers can't even provide the information the clients SAY THEY WANT to make a decision if they want to see the provider or not without clients coming on here and booing them for it. It's a lose/lose situation when it should be a win/win. Clients: I don't want to waste my time with a provider out of my price range or who upsells or who requests a deposit to meet. Provider: OK, I posted my actual rates, actual deposit policy, cancellation policy, payment policy to be honest with you, and to not waste your time Client: Boooooo! Posted September 24, 2022 I wish there were an option for "sometimes" because sometimes the topics here are informative, engaging and occasionally fun. Other topics don't interest me at all. I avoid ones that are filled with negativity. Life is challenging enough and I do this as an escape and for fun, not to add more drama in my life. If I want more drama, I just read the news. I appreciate the folks here who keep it positive, engaging, entertaining and supportive. I know I posted it on TOB before a few years back also. I will now post it again. You might want to write down these simple sentences on an indent card or print it out. Glue it in a spot in your office or home as a private reminder to read to yourself daily. THE FIVE REIKI PRINCIPALS As for today I will not not allow myself to act out of anger or verbalized angry tones also harbor anger in my body. As for today I will not worry or become consumed with regrets and or live with fear. As for today I will be grateful and humble, smile more and express love and generosity to all I come in contact with.
