Incorrect Advertising?

So I just came across a post the was in the body rubs section on BP. The woman referred the post to her website for additional info. I'm good with that. 

Upon reviewing her site she only has FS donations posted. I contacted her to inquire nicely that I didn't see an FBSM rates referring that I found her posting in the body rubs section. She replied that is her rates for either FBSM or FS. 

So am I incorrect in thinking that she posted incorrectly (seemingly purposely) in the wrong section?

I am not trying to be a smart ass   I just dont understand why people get hung up on location of adds?

I know a few FBSM only ladies who post in FS, but never heard of FS ladies posting in FBSM.  I would say no, you're not wrong thinking she posted incorrectly.  FBSM/FS same rate?

Researching over the years on BP I have found ASP's to post in the Escorts & Body rubs sections at the same time on many occasions.

AnD sometimes at the exact same time I have seen them post in Escorts, Body rubs, Dom & fetish, women > men, ...

 

I figured they were just trying to expand their demographics.....

 

I don't remember the price points or wording particular per section.......

There are many who advertise & provide FBSM at FS rates. Where they advertise is their business. The consumer has to make their own choice: to pay the asked rate, or move on to another provider. Better to know what to expect going in than to face an upsell when you arrive.

If you average the rates of providers listing FBSM, and average the rates for providers offering FS services, you will notice a difference. In the past this has been 20-25%, and for some as much as 50%. There was a time when this was the best way to determine what level of services to expect. Sometimes it also hinted that one should expect an upsell.

Of course, nothing is cast in stone. 😙

A providers rate for FBSM or any other item on the list is her rate. if it's higher than you would like to pay move to the next provider on your list. calling her out on the rate is like calling out a Dentist on the price of a cleaning. you will find many Dentists who charge more for a cleaning than others charge for more invasive work. I don't even ask why I'll just call a more affordable Dentist.

Good point Bit, it is about communicating with the provider about her ads. Preferably privately.

Frankly,  a full body sensual massage is a ton of work! I don't charge extra for services, but if I were to charge extra it would be for FBSM. I save massages for the special men in my life. Massages are extremely intimate to me.

The FBSM providers still have to shower, get pretty, drive to the location or provide a location, and spend an hour rubbing on you. Most likely with some sort of happy ending. Good discussion. I don't think that Colorado Guy is trying to cause an issue. Thinking he's just trying to figure out how we operate with our prices and such.  Truth be told there is no cookie cutter and ethics with how much we should charge for whatever we provide is all up to us providers.

 Another thing about  us providers pay for those ads on Backpage, trust me in saying that Backpage is a pain in the ass to post on. Due to needing to run to the store and purchase a certain preload credit card to use. Oh and heven forbid you use that card again by loading the same card with money again! Backpage might end up stealing the money off your card. 

Just a pain in the butt advertising on  that website!

I then wanted others opinions on this. But then I feel like I personally attacked being called emtionally immature, etc.
