Denver to El Paso in 8 hours. When we approached El Paso, we would turn off on a dirt road into the desert. We'd find an arroyo and stash everything, I mean everything out of the car under a creosote bush in the wash. Including the spare tire, all personal belongings, everything you weren't wearing. Empty the glove box. If it wasn't part of the car, we ditched it. It took us several trips to learn this. Keep in mind, we were in HIGH SCHOOL! Anyway, we then could party (what the thread is about) in Jarez and drive back across the border with no car search. Amazingly, also, no STD's. So, it wasn't until the eighties that that I found someone to escort me, or rather, she found me. No kidding. I had just moved back into a house I owned after evicting the renters. (Another cool story). The house is spotless, because the previous renter had been a drill sargeant in the Marines. That hollow, echoing sound of a totally vacant house. The phone rings.
