Posted August 8, 2022 I posted elsewhere in more detail: In SoCal it was pretty popular, not so much -- or not at all -- in Denver. Having thought about it a bit -- I think the proximity to the adult filming industry has set a different tone there: Federal 2257 forms mandate IDs in content production, Talent Testing Service is readily available, people are just much more used to "ID + testing!" requirements. Men in Denver are super flaky. I did a duo back in 2017. Not recently! Matter of fact both guys I have known for a very long time and no repercussions from our little adventure either. In the "view from the other side thing" -- it's the #1 reason I don't do them anymore. That is: I've done so-called "group therapy" as, errr.... actress-based hired shoots, non-filmed hired events, and just-for-yucks ones because I like them. The filming ones suck -- start, stop, move, hold -- camera shutter clicks (okay, I'm old, and was in SoCal "back in the day") -- won't do that again, ever. Super tedious. Arranged ones where it was a group of friends were great, but friends move on, new jobs/cities/families, super hard to get a new group to "gel". The meets ala Humaniplex or TNA were the best, arrangements fullfilled in advance meant near-100% turnout, and no drama. Hobbyists tend to be a higher caliber of guy, if only in the "these are the terms, I agree to them and will abide"... it matters, and you don't get drama like this: A lot of guys play power games -- showing up late, because they're so much more awesome than everyone else they shouldn't have to wait, right? Or drunk, or bring an uninvited and un-vetted/tested friend. Or, my personal least favorite, they show up and are "savers" -- they want to show off by lasting for an hour, to the exclusion of others... As for the second line, that's funny, as the average guy who successfully does group events seems to be late-30s into 50s, or older if the women allow it (some are pissy about age). As for me? I wish I'd taken more pictures at the advent of the digital age when I was young and prettier, as judged by the values-youthful-women thing our culture holds so dear... ;-) Funny, though, ostensibly prettier 20 years ago -- definitely younger and thinner -- but I'm more confident of my figure now. In the age of covid and now the dreaded 'pox, ah, it's nice to wax nostalgic about the "good 'ole days", methinks :-) I'm surprised how few hobbyists have tried these.
