Posted March 11, 2021 For those of you who weren’t here in March 2003, if the coming storm matches 2003, it is going to be a wild ride! That one took me several hours to dig out and using my 5 1/2 HP, 24” snowblower.
Posted March 11, 2021 Never mind the predictable snow ..... BREAKING NEWS: "Can you believe it's MARCH ????!!!!" ...Hard to believe..... 🤔 (Just checked my calendar... It's actually March 11 but just wanted to share)
Posted March 11, 2021 I lived in the country in eastern Douglas County in 2003. 32" of snow on a 200' drive way. Too deep for blower. Friend with tractor who usually plowed for me couldnt get there. Took kids and I 8 yrs to dig out. Still stuck at home 3 more days until county plow got to our road.
Posted March 11, 2021 8 hrs....not 8 yrs. Although it seemed like it.
Posted March 12, 2021 2003 was fun. Kids got a couple of days off school and had fun building snow forts. Everybody on my street helped each other shovel out. Bring it on! I am a weird Winter guy who even likes to shovel snow. We need the moisture
Posted March 13, 2021 I love this time of year. 😁 It’s warm enough that you don’t need clothes outside, yet not so hot that you spend most of the day inside.😘 It’s 72 at 7am, headed for 84😝

But I’m expecting to get up in the morning and see at least 12” on the ground.

Posted March 15, 2021 Ran the snowblower twice yesterday and again this AM. Had to shovel the 36" gifts by hand. I need an FBSM therapeutic massage.

I just drive back and forth over the snow and mash it down....melts faster that way too.
