Tasteless Thoughts

I understand and relate to the gentlemen checking out the veritable smorgasbord of ladies, and the ladies saying they enjoy the company of all well-paying gentlemen.

But what about the real world attraction, what’s your taste - do you ever find yourself thinking of any of the ladies/gents as a suitable mate for a while? Possibly even marriage material? No acting on the thought (or feeling) - just, “Hm, I can see us as a couple.”

Does it happen often for you, or even at all.

I am sure it happens out there. If it does work out into marriage,  why should they be any different than the rest of the population. In my case,  I am so much older than the girls, it never crosses my mind.  I know the girls  get guys trying, more than they would like to admit. It would have to take two very special people for it to work in my opinion.

It happened to me once. We ended up as couple, for 8 years. In the end, my advancing age, and laziness, drove her away. Shot myself in the...foot!

Consequently, I avoid even thinking about it.

Physically, since my taste is ladies is across the board (BBW, milf, slender) it’s hard not to say yes.  I do tend to look for a higher age bracket in the RW, but still younger than I am.  Where there is significant difference between RW and HW is in non-sexual interests.  In the RW I want someone who shares my interests so that we can have interesting conversations over the years.  In the few hours of a hobby date this is not so critical.  I remember a GF & I spending a week on the road, driving every day and talking about everything under the sun, getting to know each other.  That’s not to say that there aren’t providers who would qualify.  But that’s not the focus of our interactions.

I haven’t sought a connection outside of the hobby in years. And In the hobby,  I never wonder what we could be. I sit on it and LEAVE. No regrets

My wife and I have had a good relationship with another very beautiful lady on and off again for 15 years. We both love her in her own right. She is ALWAYS welcome in our home, no matter what might be going on. Lots of trials and tribulations and we accept that no questions. She has a good heart.

I usually seek providers who either remind me of someone I know or fantasize about, but I only see a provider once because I worry I'll get attached

The easiest, most superficial answer to that question no doubt lies in the realm of physical attractiveness. I'm sure that's a lustful 'yes!' for most guys, for obvious reasons, and why wouldn't it be? Going deeper than that--where fantasy and reality collide in this business--the sine qua non attribute of 'emotionally & relationally available' exerts itself. How many lady-providers are? Just Jos, above, probably expressed (in her juicily frank way) where most of them are coming from more-or-less, and so that answer, if one is being fully rationally, is a resigned 'no!'

If one is being fully rational...lol. So we pursue the fantasy like moths to flame, again and again, trying to touch oasis instead of mirage, hoping to connect in the deepest ways with our goddess-muse du jour while trying to convince ourselves that all we wish to do is fuck.

No, I do not consider it. I’m not a stick  in the mud, or jaded. I’ve just learned to appreciate  the fun, sexy time together, then go home. I like having my own house, own account, my own cars, and not having to answer to anyone. At the same time, I’m very submissive, so who knows...🤷‍♀️

Audrey, I agree with you whole heartedly.  I've been divorced for a number of years and have no desire to get into a long term relationship again.  Being an old guy, my needs and wants have changed.  I am comfortable being single, can do things that I want to do when I want to do them (within reason).  Financially I am doing okay enough to support my lifestyle (which is pretty minimal).  I enjoy the company, conversation and sex with ladies.  The hobby has been a blessing to me and fills my needs and many of my "wants".  Who knows, I may change my mind about "relationships", but at present, I am happy with where I am and how I live.

Admittedly, I've come close, twice: once a pretty black girl who I was banging on the regular while still in graduate school. The other one a beautiful graduate student, goth type, with full red lips, big tis, and long black hair, who worked for an escort agency in the DC area. 

Luckily, I came to my senses before boarding the short bus to Stupidville.
