I've seen many people write that they only choose well reviewed providers, which I totally get as far as safety is concerned, but what would you recommend for a provider who does not have many reviews yet? Thanks! 😊 Lexie, I've had a no review policy for over 3 years and I feel so much safer. When LE started linking reviews with ladies they busted, I delisted and never looked back. While it does lend credibility to ease the gent's mind, it also puts ladies at risk. I've seen a lot of gents who think that reviews are crass (sorry boys, just the opinion of some) and appreciate my no review policy for the sake of discretion for all parties. Not everyone will agree on this point, but having no reviews isn't career suicide. Posted June 16, 2016 (edited) Vera, while having reviews is a big step up, it's not a deal killer for me. Other factors are evaluated: How long has she been posting on the boards? Is she thoughtful in her posts, or are they just threADs? What is her reputation among ladies I have seen? Back channel information from other clients. Does she present yourself in a thoughtful manner in her ads? Do her photos show a good representation of her figure? Or do they use deceptive poses? Are her rates comparable to the local market? Posted June 16, 2016 When I 1st started this journey, I thought reviews were important. It was my way of screening someone I'd like to see. I still like to know what I'm getting into, but am more comfortable relying on age group, Ads, Websites, Blogs, Social Media. My fav of all time had no reviews when I 1st met her. Posted June 16, 2016 One of the best girls Ive ever danced with was only on backpage and never had a review, and I saw her for a good year until she grduated med school and got out. She was totally independant, and she would spend hours after a session just hanging out, get food or drinks, smoke. I love that. The provider / client friendship. Posted June 16, 2016 Glad to hear people use a variety of sources when checking out providers! Most of my clients so far haven't been active on review sites and I was feeling inadequate lol. Posted June 16, 2016 For me no reviews are a deal breaker for two reasons. First, I'm a very cautious person so I always wait for a lady to have several reviews with some being from reviewers that I recognize and trust. Second, even though I have plenty of money I don't like wasting it so the reviews help me determine who will be the best match for me. If it's just going to be an ok session I'd rather do something else with my time and money. I'm not sure how to answer the second question but I bet you won't have any problems with just posting an ad. Posted June 16, 2016 I will sometimes see someone new with no reviews if she appears genuine from some forum posts and suggests that what I want is on her menu. A couple reviews helps with that instead of asking certain questions. Her donation amount also affects that - someone new that is offering a special or isn't trying to jump to the highest rates sometimes catches my attention. (Side note: it confuses me that some of the newest unreviewed girls got a few reviews despite that, but to each their own! haha) I like a couple reviews because the first ones tend to say if a gal is on the up and up or playing games with rates and five year old photos! Opinions vary as to which crowd is the more considerate and "better" client base. Not sure if I'll go totally review-free but it's good to hear it wouldn't be instant career death. Reviews have their place i suppose, but i am not really a big fan. Amongst other reasons too many are just plain bragging about the john's exploits and/or useless drivel. They can be somewhat useful in getting an idea of what MIGHT be on the menu, but even then on any given day with any given client and depending on how life has been going that week ...... menus vary. So I personally do not consider reviews that critical, but then I research things way more thoroughly than most seem to and I generally have a pretty good idea without the reviews who is or is not legit - at least not LE and that is the most important thing. After establishing they are not likely LE, a bit of the unknown is part of the adventure! I don't care to approach this as a drive up window, "give me the number 4 special with extra sauce and super size the sides and make it fast! and are there any coupons for that?" And as a practical matter, when i think of recent activities - of the last four ladies I have seen one had no reviews at the time, a couple had only two and one had several reviews on two other review boards in more than one state. Guess which one was the abysmal experience - yes, the "well reviewed" one. The other three were delightful and one of the others fits the literal definition of ATF and just gets more so with every new visit. So as far as reviews, do not obsess, do not pursue - they will come. Run your business the way it works best for you including if that is to not allow reviews or go "under the radar." There is no one right way to go about it. You will know what works for you if and when you have the number and kind of clients you want -as opposed to a stream of the hit and run, one more notch on the bed post type. Anyway, just one john's opinion. The ladies here may have a different and more useful take - they have escorted too, I haven't. Disappointment comes when I go with a hunch - that the lady seems cool on the phone and the tenor of her ad is appealing. Posted June 17, 2016 I see new/unreviewed providers often. I never recommend it to dudes who are new. I been at this awhile now. Not the longest. Not a rookie. Before I visit I talk to the girl a minute. Get a gut feeling. I've run into fakes flakes and scams over the years. It's an instinct now. Not something I could teach. Just something I can do. If it don't feel right I don't go. 1 word texts or terse replies are some of my red flags. There's stuff we can't say. Sure. But no effort to get a message through those restrictions is a no go. Long time provider with no reviews? Gonna feel out community opinion. Sometimes she just don't like reviews. I get that. I don't like my job reviews either. Sometimes she just didn't like what the reviews said. That's more of a problem. Mostly though jaded attitudes are a huge turn off to me. I'm in it 100% for the fun. Page one is respond to complaints from neighbors or hotel operators. Page two is set up in a hotel and lure johns into a sting. Page three is set up in a hotel and lure girls into a sting. If a lady has reviews that speeds things up but I have TOFTT many times after some homework as listed and seldom been disappointed. So, reviews are not critical but many ladies have told me that once they got 3 or more reviews their phone started blowing up and business rolled along much smoother. Generally I go with ladies that are well reviewed and have been around a while, but I have to admit that one young lady's advertisements caught my eye and she had no reviews. I researched her on the TOB archives and read about 20 posts she had posted over several years, all of which were thoughtful and interesting, so I figured that she was not LE, at any rate. I also found that the reason she has no reviews is that she does not allow reviews, which alleviated my fears as to why someone who has been around so long had no reviews. I called her and after playing voice mail tag for a while, we talked and I liked what I heard, so I made an appointment. Let me just say that I was very pleased and she has been one of my ATFs for several years now. She is so under the radar that a newcomer would never know that she exists. She only posts a three-word ad to let the regulars know she is back in town, takes it down after 24 hours and vanishes from the radar screen for a couple of months. Posted June 19, 2016 Actually, I like selfie photos over the glam-shots. There is more personality in the selfie-shots, and they are always much more realistic. One thing, girls, avoid the selfie shots in the bathroom where the toilet is in the background. Major turn off. So try that and just shoot for pictures that are a step down from the best maybe? And viola, no extra money spent! For me I don't worry about pics all that much. Sure girls hide parts they're insecure about. Bellies mostly. Damn hard for anyone keep a flat belly. Ain't easy to put a pic of your body out there for people to judge. Not even when it's your business. Pic tells me some basic stuff- basic body build basic age guess. Whatever a girl look like someone out there is gonna want to hop on and hump. Mostly.
