How do you not get busted?

Were they being explicit with the conversation? Or is it just responding to a generic ad about escorts enough??? I for one don't say a damn thing about what I want. I simply ask when can the provider meet, and if there aren't any rates, what the rate is per hr.

Anyone familiar with the legal side of this?

So these poor johns get caught, and slammed with charges, but probably don't get charged unless they confess. Pretty ahole move on the cops part. But I'm sure it is effective. Especially since they publish their names in the paper. Public humiliation. Ridiculous.

They say they are fighting trafficking, but I am curious what those ads stated. Did they say they were under 18??? Doubt it.

No; BP guidelines for Ads would be for legal age & adult services....

Not sure about what is happening on BP, but I know one of the more popular AMPs closed down in the last couple weeks. Interestingly, in the last couple weeks there was also a Yelp review "exposing"  this AMP. But I had noticed this place has been a lot busier in recent months as well. Interested to know what happened and why it closed. I haven't seen anything in the papers.

There are many legitimate under 25 year old escorts. If you are feeling paranoid, don't go with unknowns.

Stings are not supposed to be public knowledge.

I have been out of state on business, and I see that you are indeed correct. Now when you go on rubmaps you can see all the reviews that were greyed out. That place was the true "sure thing" where they dressed overtly sexy or barely at all. Now there are one or two other sure things, but I'll never tell. 

It could be that this AMP went out of business for all those "normal" reasons that businesses go out of business. Not making money, owner decides to retire, etc, because there have been no newspaper reports, and good lord this place was ripe for an LE bust. Would have been a piece of cake.

There was a flurry of LE activity last Thursday afternoon at several hotels located on Mulberry and I-25 in Ft. Collins.

Really? Oh geez.  That certain AMP was certainly just off of Mulberry and near the i25. Those hotels on Mulberry and I-25 are so dicey. I have been to one hotel in Fort Collins, but it was in the center of town and quite nice. Stay away from Mulberry, people. Not good.  Ink, is there a link to a newspaper article that you can provide, by chance? I shall also do some research.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you notice? Which ad were you going to?

I've gone to mulberry & i25 a handful of times, and I think I've always just been lucky. I usually find someone with reviews, but I'm sure you're not safe even then.

In the absence of any specific actionable information what is the point of "lots of LE activity at the motels" other than FUD. A quick check of Larimer County LE blotter shows there to be a fair amount of LE activity at many of said motels every day. But how many IF ANY of those activities are of any concern to John's or providers here - have anything to do with stings etc. as opposed to lots of people in small area equals LE calls for all manner of stuff. And as to the chances of being busted at one while seeing a known and reviewed lady that is pretty much zero. In any sting ever run one or the other participant is LE. If LE observes guy A visit gal B they may "know" what went on but if neither yaps about it there us no proof. Stings do not work that way!! Sheesh.

In addition,  those visiting an AMP for something other than a message have got to have a death wish.  Why not just cavort around on Mulberry blindfolded if you need a cheap thrill.

I had someone split one day, after seeing my old Crown Vic, which I'd forgotten to move out of the driveway.  Can't say I'd have done differently in their position. I'm so glad that shit box is gone from my life...

I do not mind you asking at all.  This is  condensed.  Sorry to be late in responding as I have been on vacation. 

I arrived early and parked across the street from the hotel.  While waiting, I noticed someone else waiting in another car viewing the hotel.  I observed 2 busts as marked LE cars quickly arrived.  I observed additional LE activity at the hotel across the street within minutes of leaving the parking lot.

One has to be aware of your surrounding.  If you cannot be on time, be early.  Watch what is going on around you.  I was fortunate.  The damn little head was thinking rather than the big one.

Not being a smartass, seriously asking.....you know these busts were for solicitation how?  As opposed to drugs, or just a general coincidence of different people being arrested for unrelated offenses near the same place/time?

Or are you just saying that the LE activity (no matter why) in general was enough to spook you?  It would probably spook me, even if I knew in my heart it wasn't at all related to the reason for my visit.

Yeah, I don't think Ink should have waited to find out.  Busts going on? Holy fuck, you get out of there.  Even experienced people get led astray by the little head, and at least Ink owns up to it.
