Everyone needs to find their own level of risk they are comfortable with. Are DATY and BBBJ completely safe? Nope. Are they worth the risk vs. benefit? Posted October 27, 2014 If you're wanting to be disease free, you need to be 100% safe, not 60%. Statistics matter and not all diseases are the same. I'm not really concerned about anything except HIV and pregnancy. Herpes and HPV are extremely prevalent and not really stopped by condoms very well so it's not worth worrying about if you are going to have a lot of sex partners. You either don't have sex or you need to accept that herpes and HPV are very likely. Pregnancy is curable but only if she wants to cure it. Other diseases aside from HIV are largely treatable or curable. So that leaves HIV and pregnancy to worry about. Both are stopped pretty well with condom during intercourse.
