Isn't it easier to just call the provider & hold a 2 min convo & get to know each other then 100 messages back & fourth asking the same questions that's already written in ad. Honestly I feel most texters are BSers... Get the excuse I'm at work can't talk right now wife is around... Blah blah! So if you don't have time to hold a 2 min convo how are you going to have time to see me? Js. Also it says please be discreet over phone.. So why ask any sexual favors? I know why your calling, you know why your calling does it really need to be discussed? How can I answer any questions as far as my services if I don't know you? Posted July 25, 2014 I actually prefer text messages as an initial means of contact. The message is usually something like this, " Hello (insert name)...saw your ad and would like to see you if you are available this evening for (insert desired time)....Will time X work for you?" Posted July 25, 2014 Part of the challenge is that each provider has a different preference. Some only want you to text, some require a P411 message others say to call and still others ask for an introductory email... Sometimes nothing stated and the it is a communications free-for-all. Har. I swear that soon as you establish a good "protocoal" with someone, they retire or take a sabbatical or otherwise disappear (no, they're not duct taped in my trunk...!) While I respect that you have preferences and that they are spelled out in your messaging, and most of this is fairly straightforward.....some of these unwanted texts and such could be either frustration, confusion or just "f#%$ it I can't figure out who wants what." What one says is ok, another says its not. *Some girls discuss rates and services, while others don't. *Some girls book only my text. *Some girls dont book by text. *Some girls book by email only, he never gets a phone number for her. *Some girls book by email, once screening clears, he gets her phone number. *Some girls dont email at all. *Some girls want the guys to only call them. *Some girls are booking though skpye. ~~~~ *Some girls are not Full Service but they advertise on boards that are for escorting only. *Some girls actually spell out what they offer so guys are not guessing. The list goes on..... Many ladies are advertising under escorts services. Such as Strippers, Companion with no touching, FBSM or Body Rubs. They are not full service. Not all providers have reviews. This is one of the reasons guys ask some of the questions they do. Some gentlemen dont have funds they can just waste. While others do. Some gents prefer to book by text, so they know what they are doing. So they dont make a mistake. Example money, time, date, how long, address with directions on where they should go. Then they dont have to keep asking. They know excatly what is expected of them. Some guys have a fablous memory. They will remember everything you told them right down to the T without texting. While others will jot it down on paper. It used to bother me when guys would do silly things that. I thought was completely wrong. Esp when they asked for a type of service. Until one day I asked one of them. His explantion made sence to me. I will still say, I dont disscuss servicers or rates. I move on and finish screening them. Once we meet (if we do) I will educate him. I have learned over time to just go with the flow in my own fashion. Not missing out on having a good time, extra money in my pocket. No and that's a big leap in logic there. As others have stated, if in an office environment, can't easily be talking to a hooker discretely. And might be tough to go outside somewhere to hold a conversation. And if you can find a place with some privacy, leave a message, now we're back to square one of trying to sneak away someplace to try returning the call. And to flip the "can't talk now" argument, have had that from providers: "at dinner with friends", "at King Soopers", etc. "Will call later". Back to problem above and or now I'm at dinner with friends, at King Soopers. I'm one of those persons who will shoot a text and ask about your donation/location even if its clearly stated in the ad. I can read and if it says NO TEXT and I shoot a text I actually don't care if you respond or If I blow up you phone with texts. If you don't like it get pro active about it so it doesn't happen. I'm actually giving you chance to be the one I want to spend time with. Now about the whole Bull shitter thing well you have a good point. Sometimes I shoot a text to multiple ladies then I pick from there. Sometimes I'm not even sure if I want to see you but I'll shoot a text anyways just because I can. That's just the way assholes like me roll. Just a complete ass-fuck. As far as the pics go if they are real pics and you are complete hottie then ad is irrelevant. As a small business owner is it not part of the deal that you get to dictate how perspective clients contact you?? I can think of many businesses that only allow specific means of contact, or to be more specific take away your choice. I look forward to the day that guys just accept that there is nothing universal about this business and because of it's lack of legitimacy there will never be "rules" that everyone has to follow. Consider this, if you prefer to text then stick with those who text but for many I would think that screening begins with initial contact. If you disregard the ladies means of preferred communication it's a strike against you. If your preferences fall outside of my comfort zone then my preferences win. In my opinion there is nothing more important than hearing a strangers voice before you meet them. Intuition and judgement are undervalued in the world of screening. Text me all the references you want but I want to know if you sound Pee Wee or are a total dick on the phone, that you will call me from the same number that you text from. I would think that some of the same would be important to the gents too. You would be surprised at the level of information that can be extracted from the various screening methods. These ladies aren't just pretty faces. The ones who have been around awhile have far more than just a few brain cells to rub together. Underestimate them if you will. After getting to know them.......and paying attention to what is going on .........many have earned my respect. But, I don't think there is a good excuse for doing the opposite of a stated preference. As I said, sometimes though we're left guessing and guess wrong. And over the course of seeing who might be interested in setting an appointment, an email that should have been a call gets sent or a text that should have been an email goes out. And if you run into a psycho provider that will put you on a blacklist because you didn't jump at the moment she called you back... ("Just some guy not seriously wanting to make an appointment, jerking me around... Think he's a cop"). An aside: kinda wonder about all this. No text? If pulling the hooker lawyer rumor mill "I know a girl who knows a girl who got busted because of her text messages": cops nailed you already, text just extra gravy (similar to escort urban legend re: "by contacting me, you're not a cop" disclaimer in ads [good luck getting that one to save your keister]). And: wonder if some of these are 3g providers: want to get a sap in now/as soon as possible?
