Posted December 31, 2012 ...and how do you plan to support yourself after your retirement (at whatever age) from this hobby? I plan on someone else, maybe a gem like yourself if you play your cards right, supporting me. Haven't you asked this before? Your memory is failing you... HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS!
Posted December 31, 2012 With all your interest in this, you must be planning on opening an old hookers home.
Posted December 31, 2012 you must be planning on opening an old hookers home. *giggle* To the OP: even though I do not believe that you started this thread because you actually care about our well-being (quite the contrary I am pretty sure) I will respond to your question pretending that you are asking because you actually give a damn. I went to school. I have an education. I already have a "square job". I am making $20 an hour. My "exit strategy", as you call it, is already set into place. I could walk away from this industry right now if I wanted to. If I wanted to being the key element. I choose not to exit right now. Why? Because I love what I do. With that being said, I DO think that it is very important for other girls to have a plan in place for exiting the stage. To be brutally honest, I could not imagine being in my 40s or 50s and NOT having something to fall back on after dedicating all these years of my life to this industry. But at the end of the day, as long as I am happy with who I am and what I am doing that's all that really matters. Question for the OP: When do you plan on retiring from treating people like they are less than you?
Posted December 31, 2012 Well aren't you greedy:D I think many girls do this to "suppliment" their income. And hell...if I had some type of part time venture that brought in $1000-$1500 a week...I'd do it too. (keep that in mind ladies:p) *giggle* To the OP: even though I do not believe that you started this thread because you actually care about our well-being (quite the contrary I am pretty sure) I will respond to your question pretending that you are asking because you actually give a damn. I haer things like "I make $5000 a month" and "can I borrow $20 for gas" from the same woman five minutes apart.

While I wouldn't dispute the need for an exit strategy, what I would dispute is the numbers quoted above. I've known a lot of ASP's over many years, and one thing is for certain: Everybody(not just ASP's) lies about sex and income. Further, while I certainly concede its possible, there are just too many assumptions here.

Question for the OP: When do you plan on retiring from treating people like they are less than you? Really interesting response. The concept of an "exit strategy" is something that entertainers in various fields face -- acting, dancing, sports, modeling. As men become more vigorous at later ages, I suspect the services of ASPs will be valued at quite advanced ages -- particularly for men who prefer someone of their own age. Ms. Destiny is probably a long way from "exiting," but she is approaching it like any other professional who thinks about retirement. Happy new year to everyone, and a special thanks to Destiny for her thoughtful responses to TOB.

Posted December 31, 2012 I most cases I secceed to your brilliant mind. in this case I find myself asking, how is it an assumption if I am told "I haven't saved any of my money"? The faulty assumption comes from your belief in how much $$$ they said they were making in the first place. Further, I would dispute your claim that "most of the ASP's I have known throughout my life make that much and more". I submit that most I've known are rather reticent talking about how much they make, and I rarely, if ever, believe the numbers that they quote.

Posted January 3, 2013 Great question but I doubt that it is heartfelt coming from you. It is however something I wish us ladies could discuss freely and share ideas. We are a crafty and creative bunch, that's for sure! As I'm sure you know, The Money Laundering Control Act of 1988 made it a federal felony to "wash" money (first country to make laundering illegal. Thank the Cocaine Cowboys of Miami for that one). IMO, to have an "exit stragety" implies one has an overall stragety. For this discussion to take place words like federal offense, money laundering, and tax evasion come up so forgive me if I say, and I hope I'm not mincing words, IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. You asking that question is similar to me asking when you will enter therapy. It's sounds sincere enough on the surface but we both know I could care less. Thanks for playing.

Posted January 4, 2013 Ok 2big in mouth-to small everywhere else, I address this response to you, because I know, you no, that I am closer to retirement age then other ladies here. So read this, dear nosy asshole that you portray….. I , Jezabel UaBriain, escort on a part-time basis. I have found this to be the best paying part-time job(hard to consider this-that) that I’ve ever had. I also attend school part-time, AND lastly, I am a small business owner. The name of THAT small business shall remain unnamed, because THAT my dear, nosy, ol’ two big, delves into my real life. This is none of your business. Only people who are my friends know such things. As long as I am having fun doing this - I will continue. When it’s not fun to me anymore, I simply will disappear. *Poof* like that.

So what your saying is you haven't declared any earned income so therefor you can't contribute to an IRA
Posted January 4, 2013 So what your saying is you haven't declared any earned income so therefor you can't contribute to an IRA Dang! I did mince my words when I said "it's none of your business." Knew I should have put a "fucking" in there for emphasis. Our economy sucks. Plain and simple. An ASP without a savings account, a 5k a month tax free salary, and a penchant for shopping is just the "cash injection" we need as opposed to QE4. Vote for the good ole US of A and lets stop talking all this "savings and investing" and more frivolous spending!
Posted January 4, 2013 I doubt the majority of prostitutes have much of an "exit strategy". Sadly, many have substance problems or just don't have money skills. Some wind up in jail or rehab or the ones being trafficked get lucky and someone intervenes. Others aren't so lucky and their exit from the business is death. For every upper scale prostitute on the boards, there are probably many more on the low end that are just barely making it day to day.

I'm really glad I've never met any of the sad sacks you seem to know intimately well. I know there's drug use in the business and I'm not dislussional but I don't know any provider who abuse drugs. Shocker! I do know a few who are not so great with money but who knew about money managent when they were in their early 20's? Oh yeah, you and our resident dickwolf. This line of work is like any other where some are successful and some aren't. I've met lawyers who make six figures a year standing on their heads and some who can't afford a delux outing at McDonalds. What I don't do is ask them what their retirement plan is or sit them down and talk about getting into triangular arbitrage. I'm into different threesomes. Side note: ever notice the only posters who use "prostitute" are typically assholes? Just an observation...

Posted January 4, 2013 This thread confirms what I thought: most providers kind of live day to day, with no plan or strategy. And I agree with Boink's $5,000/$20 paradox. That's a good way of putting it.

Posted January 4, 2013 Well, that just shows you how wrong a guy can be. When I read the title of this thread I assumed it was about getting clients out of the door after an hour! Probably what they plan to do isn’t my business, but I hope some of the ladies come and help me run Songdog’s Firearms Emporium, House of Pleasure, and Daycare Center. I’m gonna have cards made and everything. It’ll be a blast.
Posted January 4, 2013 Sounds like you're getting into personal life territory in this thread. Is that wise ? Each lady exists at their own time, for their own reason and with their own plan.I'ld rather not know ,respect their right to privacy and wish them the best in their future.

All it proves is that you're just trying to be as abrasive as humanly possible...again.
