Just curious if any of you have had any luck or experience with the adult hook up sites? AFF being the main one I see.

Indirectly yes. Met a girl 17 years ago or so through AFF. She was a provider who introduced me the this site...well...old version of this site as it were.

Curious myself. So many websites and apps, with an endless amount of spam and bot-like behavior such as getting a message even before completing sign-up or adding a profile pic. I'd have actually paid for a month or two just to try it out but that sort of spam has put me off and stopped me from getting anything premium. But would love to know if anyone has gotten anything significant out of such websites in recent years.

Nope. Had an ad there for a whole year. Mainly Inbox full of nasty BS. Booked One call off it and it was bad. To me it it was worse than BP ever was.

I have had luck with doublelist but there's a lot of bots and sex workers to weed through.

I tried one of the civilian dating sites for a month, then canceled, a few years ago. I had gotten one nibble but no dates.  Next thing I knew my CC was sporting spurious Uber charges in Rands (S. Africa). That was a mess getting sorted out.

If Adultfriendfinder was any good, they wouldn't need to buy pop-up ads on 100 other web sites. Just my opinion.

Yes, Ashley Madison has been good for me. Two long term FWB, one going on 6 years . No she doesn’t live in town.  Adult friend finder has no been as good. A couple of dates ,but didn’t last long.  I probably spend as much time on AM as I do on this board.  Checking in once a day to see if there is anything new or entertaining.  So, my 2 cents

I was on AFF once and actually met someone, albeit after many hours posting and chasing ghosts.  Was a ripoff.  Was on Ashley Madison and was totally unsuccessful.  I was told by a couple ladies there it was because I was single.  In my own view, I wasn't rich enough to be a "sugar daddy" to the young hot females on there, and I wasn't young and hot enough for the older hot cougars who want young meat.  At my age and financial range I was not marketable in AM.... LOL~!

This topic actually has led me to try these out over the last few days.  Be careful of the 3-day trials if you do this and look the screens over for little pre-checked boxes opting you in for additional costly services.

So I looked reviews, articles on AskMen, etc.  I tried Ashley Madison, FriendFinder-X, Zoosk and MySecretAffairs.

My conclusion is that real women are so inundated with messages that you’d have a better chance at the club where 9/10 of those guys would be too scared to approach her.

That doesn’t mean you won’t be flirted with and receive other great responses from all-American girls who, for some reason, speak English similarly to my Indian co-workers.  They’ll be very aggressive indeed.  Many of them will have out-of-state profiles but just so happen to be in your little ass suburb that night and will meet you if you buy some special ID online that surely they aren’t associated with.

Adult friend finder is a rip off. Save your money. If you read their terms of service it says that the have the right to generate fake profiles. The local ladies on this site do not have the courtesy to even answer your emails. I have had 4 local ladies answer and we communicated on our personal emails. All four we scammers.  The big scam right now is they want you to join a swingers group for $50. They make it sound so  legitimate but it’s all a scam. Others try to get you to use Google hangouts and exchange photos.. Big mistake, This gives them access to  all your contacts. I’ve been caught in black mail schemes where they went over $800 not to send out porn to your  Friends, Be careful,  don’t get caught on this one.
