Posted July 24, 2015 I recently booked an appointment thru P411 with a well reviewed lady on the board . I received a reply saying she would be happy to meet me, but wanted my employer's name too! I respectfully declined to provide my employer and told her I would pass on the appointment. She said no problem. The questions I have: Do many of you guys get asked who is your employer? You get a water pistol. Unless you truly have nothing to lose, I just can't see the logic behind entering into such an arrangement. Lots of other beautiful women on this board and on Eccie who are happy to see me with the number of P411 oks I have and nothing else. Each provider listed on P411 runs their business as they see fit. Some still require references despite abundant OKays, for example. For many (most I've encountered) my P411 account has been sufficient. There was an occasion, previous century, where I was asked to bring a pay stub. She looked at it in my hand, and it was game on. Posted July 27, 2015 I seem to be missing the big issue here. I've been a member of P411 for years and have never read anything or been made the promise that my membership automatically entitles me to see the providers on the system. I've not read it in some time however I do believe it says in the rules and guidelines you may be asked for further screening information by the providers on the system. There are countless threads here and on every site I'm a member of about P411 being nothing more then a tool for all parties. From the OP's account of the exchange the provider wasn't rude. She asked for the information he declined to provide it and she declined the appointment. She moved on and IMO so should the OP. "Who do you work for, what is your companies website?"...provider simply calls the main switchboard of your employer, asks for you...than hangs up; googles company website and there you are-CEO and new client must be legit, right? Well, no different that hobbyist need to do their basic research, so do providers? This isn't rocket science and with digit technology it is seamless to do a background check...if in doubt-either party simply don't schedule? Doesn't take much to research that the OP has been around here on TOB for awhile...simply send a PM through TOB...along with the initial P411 contact-no one should ask for an employer? Funny thing about this contacting employer switchboard verification process...also, back "in the day" it didn't take long for LE to catch on and set up switchboard re-routes and bogus employer voicemail's. Long-term, legit providers very quickly stopped using that verification measure. Any provider still asking for "employer info", taking those verification steps; is not up on technology or risk involved to herself for relying on that outdated screening process? As a general consumer, I'd never give my SSN, employer info...honestly home address and phone number for that matter...we all get unsolicited sales calls. A seasoned hobbyist pays a little more for discretion and a "well-reviewed" long-term provider ensures, seamlessly screening for her safety sake? Voluntarily providing "Employment" information is 3rd or 4th meeting, idle conversation, no details, amongst trusted partners-period. There is your compass. Be real, have legit references, join P411 or take risks with some women/BP/LE...it's really that simple. I am not going to call them I want to keep you as a client I just want something showing that you are who you say you are. You know some sort of documentation supporting your employment.
