Long time lurker. I have seen many ladies over the course of the years and have now about had it. I had a no show no call (not the first over the years) but probably my last.

Now I know why some of these ladies can never make it. They just don't know how to run a business. I do consulting work and don't nearly make the 200 to 5oo dollars an hour they do. If I missed an appt. by not showing I would not get much return business or a lot of new business if the word got out. I do realize that things do come up but really all it takes is a call to explain. NOT A TEXT BUT A CALL. Lot more personal and likely to allow one to hold onto business, but since most are in it for the short haul it probably doesn't matter to them as there are lot more like me out there.

I suppose they do make it for a time because unlike other businesses this one does not deal with things rationally like others. A lot of us have an addiction and that makes rational decisions much harder to make. Like the bottle which is always there most of us just move onto the next lady (bottle). Well I guess that it is about time for this addict to take the pledge.

When I have an appt booked , I send other callers away. Which means I am counting on the booked appt to show up. When the booked appt just blows you off, you are S.O.L.!!

Now you have turned away other potentials and you sit there w nothing !!

Only 2 successes, one of which was actually the full time. I'm not even positive that one was even that good, but I wouldn't know since it was the best so far. Have to agree it is extremely low what some providers(and clients) will do.

Seriously, although I've experienced the dreaded NCNS many times in other cities, by sticking with well reviewed ladies in Colo, I've never had that problem. The front range is blessed with a huge number of hot, talented, RELIABLE ladies. If you can't get laid in such a target-rich environment, you need to re-examine your tactics.

Like Ryan and the others, I am shocked. It is just plain RUDE. However.... I am also shocked by how many times it seems to happen over and over with the hobbiest. WTF? I have written about this before. I did a nc/ns ONCE. My [snip} ended up in the hospital. I think I was forgiven when I made up the appointment at a 50% discount.

For the guys that this keeps happening to:

- Are you reading reviews to find out who has a habit of this ( I suppose some can not be reviewed, but the reviews should be fairly indicative of what to expect)?

- Are you booking with ladies that have a good reputation (been in the business more than a month)?

- Are you booking with Jane who was Jill last month and Susie next week from BP with no reviews, because you want to save $?

I'm so sorry that happened, and hopefully you will find one of the excellent professional providers here.

Luckily I was not hurt but I did take the time to call and say so. You said that you had a nc/ns once due a family emergency. I totally understand that and I am sure that you were under a great deal of stress and maybe not thinking of that but wasn't there at least one moment when you could have called or text to explain? It was great and admirable that you offered such a huge discount but that could have been avoided by a call or a text. Most hobbyists would understand I think.

A few of them probably were all of those, but then one of the no shows was reviewed and I had seen her before. and I don't really save money cause whatever I pay is basically all my money, but point taken.

I have started looking out for at least reviewed bp girls, though. does that help?

Almost everyone gets NCNS'd at some point, if it's happening to you more often than average, you're probably still calling the wrong hookers.

You teach people how to treat you -- so, if someone does a NC/NS, write a review and DON'T try again, unless she offers a generous discount like Holly.

You need to hone your "flake radar" a bit. Just do better research, and pay attention when you're on the phone making the appointment -- you can tell a lot just by listening to her demeanor.

You're right, I should have called to cancel. When your [snip} is rushed to ER, one just thinks I need to get there, and I need to get there fast. Totally forgot about the appointment. My fault completely. That is why I offered discount. Your other point about girls living hand to mouth, is probably right on for some. Since I have been doing this, A LOT of the same ladies are in the game. Guess what? Those same ladies continuously rack up Fantastic reviews. Again, Sorry it happened. It is my personal pet peeve too, but part of the hobby. Best wishes to you whichever way you go.

Problems besides standing a client up include but are not limited to: not returning emails/phone calls, inability to follow simple navigational directions, generally not listening/understanding instructions provided, etc.

The solution?

1. Stick with providers who have a track record of reliability.

2. Do outcalls only to your house. This lowers opportunity/sunk costs.

3. Have a back up plan.

And I've heard all the excuses: "My (insert unspeakable whatever here) has been rushed to the ER/is dying/dead/just choked on a gummi bear/whatever.

I mean, I understand things happen. Life isn't going to stop for one person. Call me, let me know as soon as possible, hell, the other day I had to cancel an appointment to run up to the hospital! And I let the guy know as soon as I found out I couldn't make the appointment, it wasn't the first thing that should have been on my mind ( I should have been doing everything in my power to get up to the hospital ) but I know if I had waited until the end, it would have been past the appointment time until I could get free to talk to him, so I let him know a good seven hours before the agreed time that I couldn't make it. He was very understanding about it and grateful I told him something came up instead of waiting eight hours after the appointment time to tell him I was sorry I wasn't able to show up.

I've had guys schedule, send in the application and EVERYTHING, only to never hear from them again, and it really REALLY ticked me off. More so when I take the time to talk to them and get to know them on a personal level so they feel comfortable when meeting me for the first time. But at the same time, I feel like I dodged a bullet. Why contact me, if you don't ever plan to show up? Why send me a picture of yourself only to ignore me? Seems odd. Right?

No doubt there is a great deal of unprofessionalism among providers and I have experienced my share of it over the 11 years that I have been in this hobby.

Oddly, I have only have ONE nc/ns and that was with a Chicago agency. My only

explanation for this record is that I research my choices very carefully. Having to

travel quite a bit when I am out in this area makes me more careful than otherwise.

I only select women that have had several reviews and with few if any problems

being mentioned.

I do not think that agency women can get away with the type of behavior that you are describing.

There are providers who keep their word, who don't schedule back to back and who are professional.

Sad but true. The worst offenders are the supposedly upscale providers. A few of them have an attitude of take what you need and leave the rest. Even if they've confirmed twice unless you are a regular. Then that is a potential lost interaction. Guys on the phone, they haven't seen are really not even actual persons yet. They get a million texts and calls a day whether they want it or not. Many from stalkers. Spend the day with a reputable provider who's not working or hasn't posted. It still doesn't stop. Girls will re-schedule, take too much time with someone, not leave sufficient time in between (yuck) and not leave a simple courtesy text if they go over. That would cause the next appointment to also go over. There are all kinds of providers. Some are paranoid, some obsess about LE and others know how to deal with the phone rationally. The smart ones have a receptionist.

In my experience, your record is a function of either, a) a run of exceptionally bad luck, or a severely flawed selection process. I've been at the well over a decade and don't have these sorts of numbers.
