Holly, I do agree that nc/ns are rude and inconsiderate by both parties. I have never done a nc/ns and only had to cancel once due to my involvement in an accident. Luckily I was not hurt but I did take the time to call and say so. You said that you had a nc/ns once due a family emergency. I totally understand that and I am sure that you were under a great deal of stress and maybe not thinking of that but wasn't there at least one moment when you could have called or text to explain? It was great and admirable that you offered such a huge discount but that could have been avoided by a call or a text. Most hobbyists would understand I think. My point of the rant was that some ladies will never learn to do that and thus that is why they live hand to mouth and probably always will because they have never learned the skills that it takes to succeed in business or sometimes even in life. You obviously have skills as you did make it right. My second point was that this nc/ns turned on the light for me and deciding that it is time to change things. If I continued there undoubtedly would be another nc/ns even though I do choose ladies who have good reviews. That is why I am seriously considering changing as I AM BETTER THAN A NC/NS.

Long time lurker. I have seen many ladies over the course of the years and have now about had it. I had a no show no call (not the first over the years) but probably my last. Now I know why some of these ladies can never make it. They just don't know how to run a business. I do consulting work and don't nearly make the 200 to 5oo dollars an hour they do. If I missed an appt. by not showing I would not get much return business or a lot of new business if the word got out. I do realize that things do come up but really all it takes is a call to explain. NOT A TEXT BUT A CALL. Lot more personal and likely to allow one to hold onto business, but since most are in it for the short haul it probably doesn't matter to them as there are lot more like me out there. I suppose they do make it for a time because unlike other businesses this one does not deal with things rationally like others. A lot of us have an addiction and that makes rational decisions much harder to make. Like the bottle which is always there most of us just move onto the next lady (bottle). Well I guess that it is about time for this addict to take the pledge.
