Is Colorado Springs a lost cause?

There have been posts from time to time here about providers in COS finding the guys to be a bunch of assholes and time wasters. I always feel bad about this, as I consider myself to be neither.

This post is just me venting about the opposite. After another time waster / no show adventure last night, I have to wonder why some women bother posting on Backpage. It seems their only goal is to waste people's time. I have to wonder if COS is doomed, being just too small a market to sustain any quality providers, or even low quality providers with a little friggin' courtesy.

Yeah, yeah, you're all going to say go for the reviewed, established providers. I know. But there are only a handful of such ladies in COS and some of us like variety.

Should I just move to Denver?

I've commented on this subject before and it frustrating for me as well. I personally don't think the hobbyist in COS are all that bad, but I'm the only one I know. I try to do my part to keep the standards up, but there is not must we can do if others are ruining our good name.

It's a small market, hence sample size. In such a small pool everything seems a little bigger. Even if the percentages are the same, a larger market will still have a greater number of good guys, as well as a larger number of gals. When that happens, its easier to avoid the bad ones.

I'm not sure I've been doing this long enough to have a qualified opinion but here goes. I've only been dabbling in this game for a little over a year and have spent a couple months now on hiatus. That being said, I've seen a few ladies from COS and even in my absence from playing I've kept up on the goings on here and elsewhere.

I've often mentally lamented our situation here in the springs. I myself have been rather fortunate and in reflection have never had a "bad" experience (read: rip off or no show), one "not good" and a couple mildly disappointing. All the rest have been good and those that are disappointing I've chalked up to my own expectations needing to be checked at the door.

For me the lament is driven one huge factor: proximity to Denver. One can pop in here on an average day and see a dozen or so reviews for ladies 60 miles away and, if a good day, see one or two from springs. Check on EB and see 50 ads for ladies in Denver and maybe 3 here in COS.

Denver being so close at hand but unrealistic for me enhances the jealousy I feel toward the Denver hobbyist. For me a lot of the draw in this activity is variety. And you Denver guys got it. If COS were 500 miles away from any other major city, I'm sure I'd be tickled pink with the offerings here. But with Denver so close, the "grass is greener" effect goes into overtime.

I understand this intellectually, but it still gets under my skin.

As to the quality of clients south of the Palmer Divide - I can't really comment as I've never seen a Denver provider and my knowledge of the declining quality in men the farther south one goes comes only from this site.

As for me, nobody has ever denied me a second appointment if I wanted one, which must mean I'm ok. Any Denver providers want to take the Pepsi challenge, I'll put myself up against one of your regular clients any old day of the week. :-)

Fork you must have mighty big hands. Last I looked there were around 30 p411 ladies actually active plus another dozen or more perfectly legit ladies that are not p411 or EB advertisers. Maybe it is just my preferences, which is to be a repeat client with but a few that I enjoy. But even if I didn't, at the rate of once a week (more than my wallet can sustain, especially being fond of multi-hour ) I would still not make it through all 40 plus before many have moved on and many new appeared. Thus explaining why my must see someday list just never gets fully checked off. Oh, for more time and money!! But you kinda bring some misadventure on yourself by being so willing to go where no TOB'er/reviewer has gone before! Not that it isn't widely appreciated I'm sure. Can't really comment on the ladies' experience compared to elsewhere other than to assume there is an abundant supply of assholes for them to put up with anywhere, just as there is an abundant supply of rip-offs and flakes for us to put up with anywhere. Apologies .... tldr material ..... again!

i'd have to guess that the small markets tend to magnify what's right - and wrong - with the biz being done there. the a-hole per capita ratio shouldn't be too skewed by the military down in C.S. because a-holes are abundent nearly everywhere in hobbydom - - jest like no good harlots.

Even gents in the metro area won't drive to other parts of the metro area b/c it's perceived too far. I'm not sure what the ratio of providers-to-hobbyist are in Denver vs COS or anywhere else, but I do agree that the 60 mile drive from COS to DTC is pretty good for DTC providers to stay put and not tour COS (imo).

Very good points and analogy. But as I said before, North Denver guys (NCC) struggle with driving down to DTC, whereas many South Denver guys think I-25 & 120th is in Wyoming.

I can't speak for him, but several, not all military guys are younger, more aggressive and feel a sense of entitlement (as told to me by a few COS providers) towards providers. Plus, most of the well-reviewed providers in COS are 30+, meaning they don't want or have to put up with *perceived* time wasters. Here in Denver, we run the gamut of ages, size, color etc.

Of the other legit ladies not on P411 or EB, there are about 2 that I see on a regular basis, who are the only ones keeping me sane.

IMHO, you are missing out on some great experiences due to this. For your sake, I hope you can eventually widen your "acceptable appearance" criteria.

I think maybe you just need to have a road trip every now and then, seen a provider in the Springs once, around 190 miles round trip. Just took a little more planning on my part and yes it was worth it.

I normally have no problem making the "road trip" from COS to DTC. Usually I can sneak away for a 3-hour extended lunch for an "appointment". It's tougher now though with the I-25 construction because travel time is longer and less predictable, so it's been a few months since I've made the trip.

Would love it if some of the Denver gals would take chance on coming down for a day! Maybe you'd find a few of us down here who would make it worthwhile.

I can't shill in this thread, but with the exception of 1-2 girls, most COS providers are mediocre at best. Too old, out of shape, severely overweight, mediocre services, unreliable, unable to follow basic and standard communication protocols.

There used to be a now-defunct agency in the Springs run by a former provider named, I think, Sadie. She had a couple of girls under her wings that were reasonably reliable, some were even quite good. Looks around 5-6, quality around 6-8. Was ok, nothing to write home about, but it served its purpose of busting a quick nut.

It really comes down the fact that 95% of the girls escorting shouldn't really be in this biz.
