Deposits

As I look at ads in STG and other non TOB sites, I notice a pattern of out of state area codes or TGTBT pictures usually want a deposit to meet.  The pictures are usually borrowed. 
Does anyone really put a deposit down for these unknown providers?

Not me.  Too much risk for an unknown.  That is part of the reason I stick with ladies from TOB.  When I've checked out STG is has some interesting posts, but many don't even put Denver in their location, which is a red flag for me.  Far too many of the STG ads seem like scams or spam ads.

I just did a tour to San Jose Ca and it's mostly Private Delights & Eros  and I got a lot of  deposit & few gent's paid for the time together with venmo or cash app  ( nice way not to carry lot of cash around on both ends )..

I did  return a deposit of 100$ for a 2hr appt , why did I well my flight was 4hr's late getting in and my appt only had the time we set to meet , So I had to cancel and I did work hard to get him to book again but his time line ran out ..    do your homework on who you are giving deposit with . 

My Venmo is list as a Non escort  name (Id) so is my cash app .. 

I do understand tho if you can't .

That's good that you have the integrity to keep your appointments and to return money if you cannot make the appt. However, I think as people keep getting ripped off, that scam will continue.  Seems like easy money without having to face anyone.  I don't think too many clients will report this to the police if they are scammed. LOL.

Well if you are contacting the right verified providers who you know are on the Up & UP no should have any issues

You are possibly going to see more requests for time deposits as time continues. Yes and it will be coming from verified ladies that have been in the business for a long time and are legit. Be willing to share Your information too. Many ladies include the money in with their asking rate. So it works as a deposit/partcial payment be it Cashapp, PayPal, Venmo. Whatever credit card service works For the lady. It works on ensuring that you Will show up. Beware of those who like to break or forget about arrangements.

Too many "bread crumbs" with deposits.  It is very easy for anyone to follow you and your actions electronically.  Cash contribution can be cash made up of bills from a 7-11, Walmart, Target etc.  Electric transfer of funds records are forever.

There is a huge positive that happens here..........

The ice gets broken and each other get to see exactly what there in for.

Wouldn't that be nice!!! I have to tell you, "back in the day" what you are suggesting was a common occurrence. By "back in the day" I refer to the times when the only ads by ASP with any thing of substance in them were in the  Rocky Mountain Oyster. And, by what we have available today, oh my, those ads were archaic. Maybe, maybe a pic of the young lady posting the ad.. But, now that I think about it, a lot of the ads had clever, fun ways of getting to the point.   Westword carried adult personals,  and, back then, both Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News carried 'adult personals. The Independent in Colorado Springs carried 'adult personals'. The ads were not much more then 3 or 4 lines of very generic physical descriptions. So, meeting for a cup of coffee, glass of wine to discuss expectations, was not uncommon. I can just see all of you youngsters and cynics rolling your eyes and snickering. I can hear all of the reasons why it is a waste of time and foolish and never work out. I am sure there will be valid points made on why it won't work like that today. But but for me bringing a more personal touch at the very beginning of discussing an appointment almost always avoided disappointment and, equally, produced very favorable results. Just my 2cents worth.

I have yet to use the prepaid method. I had someone who kept making promises to come and see me—last-minute cancellations. My fault for not blocking him after the first time he stood me up? Maybe, I sometimes fall for silly lies, I guess? Sometimes I like to figure out how far a game will go with someone too.  Claimed to have two autistic boys. My heart dropped because I love kids! I have five grand babies, so you can only imagine. Please note  not use That against me. Kids are everything to me. Kali, so sorry this happened to you.  The game players can change things for the negative for the rest of us.  It sucks when this happens, on either side of the equation.

It does suck @average1! Yet, that's part of the game for us ladies. No, it should not be! And the reason I told you this little truthful story is to expose why some of the ladies have since decided to take time deposits.  When guys pull the NO-SHOW NO-CALL, lame excuse card and, or do it on purpose to confuse/hurt us? Other ladies too? doing it to  hurt other ladies  out of vengeance? For a cheap thrill? You are taking food out of our mouths. WE are going without paying our rents; you name it.  Please stop and think before you playing such games with ladies! If you are a business owner? Possibly you will understand our situation a bit better? At least I should hope so? Have you ever lived in your broken-down car? Have you ever gone without a meal because you couldn't afford to shop? I've posted some of this previously but I'll repeat some of it for nostalgia sake. Yes, I remember the days of Rocky Mountain Oyster and Westword. The couple of times I used them were tremendous disappointments. So that made me leery of using them as a source of entertainment again. I never had the luck of oldtruckerguy in the local ads.

When the World Wide Web came into life in the 90's, I thought I was a kid in a candy store. However, I was so paranoid of scams and stings locally, I only contacted and saw ladies out of state, mostly California. Ah yes, the early days. In those days especially in California, the ladies would ask to meet for coffee or lunch especially if one asked for a prolonged session i.e. > 30 minutes, to see if the both of us were compatible.On top of it, the fee for the get to know you meetup was subtracted from the main session. Had some memorable sessions out there.  I think it helped cut down on scams also. Unfortunately, as the Web became the popular source of information, those type of extras disappeared.

I agree with having a THD (time hold deposit) I’ve noticed ALOT of flaky things going on since I’ve returnedThis is about having fun and having a great time together…it stops being that way when people insist on making it a game unfortunately

How about a payment from  preload card? . I believe you can buy a card at Walmart “Blue Bird” or Visa gift card. You need not even give the cashier or counter officer at the store your personal information. No trail no worries! LOL go out to the parking lot and use your biocular‘s to scan the parking lot for suspicious characters lurking. Damnnn it is only Urban travelers asking for a handout if you are in West Denver!

No deposit, not ever, not for any reason.  deposits are, in my opinion, an open invitation to experience an electronic cash and dash.  Sorry, but any request for deposit is an immediate pass and call the next possibility.

I don’t require deposits but I know respectful  ladies that do. I will take a deposit /cancelation if the person stands me up with coming to meet me., or decides to cancel by walking out  (say a business call -some sort of emergenc, just not feeling the vibe)  Consider the time and energy I put into setting the time, cleaning my home from head to toe, myself. I feel very justified with the cancellation fee I request.

Your policy, for most situations makes sense.  What shuld a lady do IF she is the one that cancels at the last second or just fails to show up???

She should give you a discount in my own opinion. She should within a time frame get back to you with a new date and time for seeing you. My surgeon requested all money in advance (prior to surgery). I am  only stating this to show that it’s not unusual to require a down payment. My surgery was elective. Even though it was medically necessary for my back. YES all payments in advance no day of the appointment payment. 
 

still need to write a review on him. LOL just not on TOB even though he is sort of sexy looking! ☺️

So, I am very sorry it sounds like you were hurt by a companion and this has had an effect on you.  If that is true? I am very sorry! So many ladies are using the prepayment option for booking appointments @mustang Mostly I believe it is the traveling ladies who use booking fees. Try and factor the expense of a upscale hotel. Damn, is the guy gonna show?  Can you feel her pain yet? No, I don’t feel safe at Super 6 or a Colfax motel. Do you truly equate the skills of a back surgeon (and fee and related costs) to what you and other providers do?????  The cost of medical school with the cost of even a 5 star hotel??????  Did your surgery only last an hour????   Be certain, I have the utmost respect for what you and other ladies do, but it ain't brain surgery.  To answer your other query, I have been disappointed by a couple ladies, but that has nothing to do with my refusal to pay a deposit.  IF the surgeon "stiffs" you, the medical ethics board will make things right, as well as your legal options.  What recourse does a client have WHEN he/she gets stiffed on a deposit??  Bad review??? Tongue bashing on a board such as this.  Granted the dollars are way different, but sit is the client of a lady, not a Dr.'s patient that will be out.  He sure can't go to court. While I am certain that you are an honest and dependable lady, I have simply promised myself that I will NEVER use a real world phone, NEVER go for bbfs, and NEVER pay a deposit.  I have experienced several cash and dash ".ladies" in my years in this hobby, and I learn from my experiences.  To those that do pay a deposit it is just a question of time until they get stood up.  Ladies should absolutely conduct their business as they see fit, and set their own rates.  It is up to the client to decide IF the rules and rates are something that he/she can live with.  If the answer for me in "no" I go to the next provider until I find what I am seeking.

No insult intended.  All that you say here is accurate.  Does charging a deposit eliminate the risks that you take???  I have said in many posts that I am amazed by the way you ladies do your job.  I fully  understand the risks that you take every time you you have an appointment.  I have absolutely no issues with a lady that commands a high rate for service, even if I choose not to spend at that level.  I would assume that many ladies have higher education and when working in the area of their education should be compensated to reflect that education.  I have an advanced degree but can not command the compensation I am accustomed to when working in an area outside of my degree.

 

My ONLY concern about being "stood up" (other than disappointment) is attached to having paid a deposit.  For what it is worth, clients often make choices on who to see based on posts as well.  I THOUGHT I was interacting on the subject of deposits ...... I hold no animas with toward any lady or gent here ...... IF my posts have insulted anyone, I apologize, Again, I have the highest regard for the ladies in this profession.
