What I miss about BP.

I never used backpage. I went from the Oyster to RT's sowet, then here. I preferred booking based on reviews, after the crap shoot of The Oyster.

When in Denver TOB is all I need or use.  When traveling near major metro areas P411 is my go to.  But in many of the smaller towns BP was all that was available.  Yes, it was a crap shoot, but the only game in town and occasionally yielded some gems.

A lot of you seem to forget there are more than a handful of reputable providers here on TOB that either started on BP and moved to TOB or advertised on both as well as other platforms. Additionally the loss of BP was also a major loss of revenue for some that didn’t have the luxury, means, or knowledge of other boards to go to. That part alone, if you truly love this industry and all the women working it should make you never say anything remotely close to “good riddance to BP.” And also the loss of BP shines a huge light on boards such as TOB. Lastly, I absolutely remember the scam ads that used to plague TOB as well. It’s a far cry from what it is now but let’s not pretend otherwise.

      Guys read the Oyster for the Ads instead of the articles ??         In the pre internet years ,when I had to drop off my articles every week at the Oyster office,I was grateful to meet advertisers as they dropped off their ads and ad payments. Learned who not to see and who to call.. So many ladies refused to use their photos as they were afraid to be recognized that it was indeed a crap shoot.

from Craigslist to Bear's Board to Escort Boards/photo to Sowet to TOB  to P411 to Escorts.com to Sip-Sap to Backpage to now Skip the Games and AdultLook.  Probably forgot one or two lol.  The thing that has remained constant for all ...... there are legit ladies, some absolutely wonderful ones at that,  and there are scammers and ripoffs mixed in as well on EVERY site.  Fortunately the fakes and scammers are a much lower percentage at TOB/P411 than the others.  As to missing BP, well ..... both ladies I would be tempted to attach "ATF" label to were met from their BP ads and both later became members at TOB.

My very first GFE encounter was from BP (about 11 years ago).  Sweet gorgeous gal, couldn't have been a better experience, and at the end of the visit she said, "have you heard about P411?"  She sponsored me into P411, which led to my discovering TOB, and I never even looked at BP again.  So, what do I miss about BP?  I guess I miss her, since she never came back (Texas girl).

TF, 3G, No GFE, No MSOG, death threats, NCNS, no kissing, touching or sex of any kind. 

 

BP was great.

 

At least back then it served as a kind of honeypot.

Gr8owl bearsboard is where i started about 2005-2006 maybe. From there BP to CL to Tob and retired for about 8-10 years came back.
