Favorite in Session?

102 posts in this topic

Finally found a gal in Denver (still looking in Summit County) who shares my likes. She always plays her music and dances with me to it. But I'm into only a few songs: "God yes!", Oh Baby" and "Cum with me".  Lol

I prefer anything from John Hiatt to The Beastie Boys, however if I have it on during a session,  I find myself singing and moving and grooving to the beat, which sometimes is not such a turn on!  Unless it's "Fancy" by Reba McEntire.  ( LOL completely sarcastic )

Sade is the best inmho!

Certain type of music puts me in certain types of moods.

Piano, certain jazz, and meditative make me sensual and focused.

Hip-hop/R&B makes me wanna be sexy.

Pop...to dance or sing.

Country...barf!

Metal/Hard Rock makes me want to striptease, unwind, and get it hard and fast. I get so turned on by a lot of hard music. Makes my blood pump. Most other songs don't make feel horny.

Xoxo,

Samantha Sheppard

As an artist, I find music soothes the soul and sets the mood.

I am wondering what kind of music really "does it" for each of you.

Personally, I like anything that is sensual.

Tantric moments are intensified when I have soft melodies caressing my ears.

However, I find lyrics can be distracting. Does this happen with anyone else?

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Actually, once the fun begins and until it is over I don't pay much attention to the music, only the sweet sounds my lover makes when we.....

Well stated my dear. I think Metal is the only one I can't see from your shoes. You must teach me your metal strip tease ways. :P

I can't even listen to fast music anymore while driving without worrying about getting pulled over for speeding...

It is amazing however how much each type of music can affect your mood.

I try to listen o dance music on the road so I am in a good mood. Makes getting cut off on the road way more tolerable.

Lyrics can be distracting, but some meditative, poetic songs that blend with the music are good, too (like Van Morrison, Emmy Lou Harris).  Ravi Shankar and other Indian music can really enhance tantric moments

Josie this is my choice of music. Tibetan bowls, Didgeridoos, Wooden Flutes, anything earthy, ambient music/Sound therapeutic soothing sounds (agree with those who brought no lyrics for session background music/sound) Even though when not in session I love to listen to Classic Rock, as well as some progressive stuff, Jazz, not much into country, or Rap. I also have an air purifier going which makes a soft hissing sound while cleansing the air.

I have had many compliments on the Pandora Station I listen too, Zero 7.  It is kind of a slow techno station with little to no words.
