Kind of a confusing encounter

If av8r was coming back the least someone could do was tell me so i could get more popcorn. I have kinda missed his responses that started "gr8owl, i have never liked you much, but ......" As i have said before dont believe anyone with a number in their handle. 😏

But to the point - why argue about what happened when you weren't there and the description of what happened has been changed? And as to provider coming on to explain her side - wtf???? She would be certifiable if she did lol.

Now how about a nice rate thread to argue about or ... I know .. a screening thread!!!! 😄 Can we get back to point at hand .... getting laid and having fun??

The provider doesn't have to do jack shit. Other than be honest with the client. By me saying what I did.... Is how I came up with my reasoning along with assumption is based on what he has provided for information. Don't know the other side. But to be honest the op sounds reasonably honest.

Spin is not your strong suit.

"Stalker tendencies" -- because he verified she was lying?

"Tried to damage her reputation" -- he didn't call her out by name.

"Tried to get her address" -- um, no, just tried to verify the appointment.

One thing is true -- there was no need to play "Dick Tracy".  The "I'm sick" excuse was a clear give-away.  Just like "I was in a car accident" and "My friend needed help".

The biggest mistake the OP made was giving her his real-world information.

It's like arguing with insulation. She had no obligation to tell him the truth. She cancelled which was her only responsibility. He played detective because he couldn't take no for an answer. From what Gr8owl says he was asking for a location without an appointment and he gave enough information to out who she is.

The biggest mistake the OP made was being kind of creepy and then openly admitting to it in hopes that there would be the "sympathetic" and predictable "it's all her fault posts".

Dude could be the actual po-po but god forbid we miss a chance to blame providers!

God forbid you should ever admit that the provider was even a little bit in the wrong.

I guess common decency is something you expect from every john, but is not required from hookers.

So, you're calling the escort a liar? You don't know who she is, the OP admits playing "Dick Tracy" trying to catch her lying, and you think her possible lie is the big issue?

The OP has stalker tendencies, tried to damage her reputation with this post, tried to get her address before he showed up, and you're concerned she might have lied? I think your priorities are pretty out of wack.

Oh please.....I call bullshit.

She canceled last min. He gets back on the board and he noticed she's posted 5min before, he played Detective Dick Tracy, the provider got caught being a liar, and suddenly he's a stalker? WTF 😭😭😭😭

if you don't bullshit clients they don't feel the need to play detective dick tracy. Clients don't like being played. Only fools do.

Based on this the op is not a stalker.

I seen somewhere where someone mentioned he outed the provider. I never saw that, I have no idea who he's talking about. If he hinted Seems to me he's a newbie and just learning the ropes. please......

Instead of bashing the op why don't people reach out and educate him on the do"s and don'ts? I'll take the time and educate him privately.

My time for edit ran out. I would like to say without knowing the providers side this is my thinking. Perhaps there is another side to the story. IDK I wasn't there. We don't know the other side of the story. Maybe he made her nervous. She made made up an excuse. Or who knows maybe she really was sick. This is why its important to just tell the truth, and tell the client why you won't see him. If she wasn't going to see him for whatever reason there are 100 other girls who where available that could have seen him. I think by someone reaching out and educating him, it will avoid a post like this one.

Providers like to say this is a business right? If you call in sick, and post your available what would someone assume? But rather he was trying to figure out wtf he did wrong. He wanted to see her, he wanted spend his money her. I don't see anything wrong with that. He just needs a little help on what not to do.

I will happily admit when a provider is wrong but never in these threads has the OP been innocent.  And there is no indication in this thread that the provider did anything wrong. She canceled, she could have blown him off completely but she didn't. She gave a reason, doesn't have to be legit. She said no and he couldn't move on. Having to know so specifically why you're canceled on is a little obsessive. I can understand being pissed off but what does exposing a white lie do? It's very likely to get him scratched off her list forever.

She gave him the common decency of canceling. What more do you want? For her to write a sorry note? Why does the reason she canceled matter so much?

Both you, and Nikki, need to read the whole thread. Every...single...word.

You've both missed (or are deliberately ignoring) some posts.

Every ...single...word.

Based on the op admitting he played detective dick tracy from a different number, and she replied she was available, after saying telling him she was sick.....Something is not adding up. One of the reason why I quoted another member and encourage him to not do anything and leave it alone.

*IDK as I said before maybe she was really sick.

*Maybe he fucked up, and doesn't know what mistake he made, as he mentioned. Maybe she didn't wanna deal with it, or take the risk. Maybe he needs to be educated on what not do. If this is case, its really simple educate him so he doesn't make the same mistake again.

No one really knows the truth except for these two.

Another reason why I said someone needs to help him, so we can prevent another post like this.

Maybe she was just looking for the type of client that would hold her hair back while she puked. Maybe the OP wasn't that type of client so she went posting for another.

I will happily admit when a provider is wrong but never in these threads has the OP been innocent. It seems clear he would have let the matter drop, except that she re-posted her ad immediately after claiming illness. And there is no indication in this thread that the provider did anything wrong.  She canceled, (she lied) she could have blown him off completely but she didn't. She gave a reason, doesn't have to be legit.Agreed, she could have said "I don't feel safe with you, please call someone else, have a nice day" (which I suggested in an earlier post) She said no and he couldn't move on. She didn't say no, she claimed to be sick and then made herself available shortly thereafter Having to know so specifically why you're canceled on is a little obsessive. Where has anyone said that he needed to know?  The OP said he was confused by her behavior.  I can understand being pissed off but what does exposing a white lie do? It's very likely to get him scratched off her list forever.  Based on her behavior, I think that's a given.

She gave him the common decency of canceling. What more do you want? For her to write a sorry note? Why does the reason she canceled matter so much? Her manner of canceling wasn't very decent.  It was misleading and confusing.  Saying "I'm sick" invites future contact, as in "try again another day when I'm feeling better"  Of course, that future contact could get him labeled a "stalker" (and it did, on this very thread).  It's much more RESPECTFUL to say "I don't wish to see you".  Then, any BS on his part would be entirely on him, and we wouldn't be having this debate.

I am done after this one. You're the perfect reason to not turn someone down with the truth on the phone. Some people just can't let shit go.

Once again, for the learning impaired:  "I do not wish to see you.  Please call someone else, & have a nice day".

Very fishy to call from another number. Just plain wrong very stupid Dick Tracy! Lol he could talk with an acinent and wear a mustache when he arrived. Ooooh ya that make him a totally different man! She might really be impressed too!  Some people choose not to understand in life. There is something disturbing about you to this women. Find yourself a new lady!;)

Yuck I am still not feeling great. Damn flu bug! I will be better tomorrow!

Perhaps it would be less confusing if the original post had not been significantly altered which it was. The original contained enough information to identify the specific provider which seemed like a passsive aggressive way to slam her without review. I understand why mods edited. But also edited was the part about "i texted her for exact address"  That combined with no references or reviews after posting 411's here for 9 months probably spooked the hell out of her. But the original post as best i recall did not sound like a true appointment was set before you spooked her. Move on and do things better next time. 😏

Hey MAG! Since you're too stubborn, or too stupid, to re-read the thread ^^^here is a post^^^ I'm pretty sure you missed. Mazel Tov!

Nope, didn't miss it.  It's pure hearsay, and gr8owl admits he wasn't sure if he recalled it correctly.

Once YET AGAIN, for those who cannot read:   "I do not wish to see you.  Please call someone else, & have a nice day".

Get better hon!

Honestly, I am kind of guilty of not being honest to clients if I get a hinky feeling. I have been on the end of a guy freaking out and then there is a huge argument, and that is no fun whereas if I make an excuse about the car, being sick, etc. it sort of gets you off the hook. I understand that both sides should be honest when it comes to this business, but it just doesn't happen. As humans, we are scared of hurting someone's feelings(I believe) so we make excuses to justify not hurting them when, in a situation like this, he is onto it and she is none the wiser of her faux pas. I have rarely canceled on clients(think I can count about 10 total in 13 years) and when I have, most of them were for good reasons(those clients know I made up for it), but there were those few that didn't pass the test, and I politely turned them away with something else. It was not honest, I know, but I felt it was the best decision for the circumstance.

This is a huge reason why ladies need to learn to screen more efficiently, and effectively run their business so that these situations don't arise. She should have know way before the appointment that she wanted to see him, not make the decision last minute. Yet, I have had clients act one way on the phone then different in person which is NOT cool. A YMMV scenario, I think. Either way, it sucks!

Samantha Sheppard

I complexity agree with MAG.

Some providers just don't want to say that because they just want to avoid problems. They don't want to argue. But choosing this route can cause problems too.

Its been my experience that if you just out right tell the guy you don't want to see him and tell him why he gets it and moves on.

One of the reasons I'm pretty blunt is because guys don't want to hear all the other BS. Cut to the chase.

Well good, it's settled then!

When you become a provider(and start doing double sessions with Nikki), you will treat all your clients with honesty, respect and dignity!

I applaud you sir!

although ive never done this to a client, there are many reasons of which could be the case... but it personally sounds like she came up with an excuse in a more polite way to cancel the appointment. Perhaps something changed and she no longer felt safe or comfortable accommodating you... although who knows.. she could have been actually sick and reposted her ad simply to book clients in the future when she was feeling better.

all in all, theres plenty of fish in the sea! better luck next time!
