Posted April 14, 2016 We all have the right to choose. We have the right to choose who to vote for as president. We have the right to choose if we want to wear underwear or not. Now there is a big difference in those choices. One effects many, the other does not. What I see here is a bunch of people thinking that choosing underwear is as important as choosing a president. Or in other terms, people with nothing better to do with their lives. Or what I see them doing as even worse, is turning something that is supposed to be fun into something that damages a person's real life! Is I was "Mister or Miss Big Wig" on an escort forum important enough to you to be engraved on your head stone? If it is, I feel sad for you. I can not stress this enough. You do not take the hobby and escorting and use it to hurt people's real life. Period!! The owner's of TOB did not have to put up a forum side. They could have spared themselves all the headaches and kept it advertising only. It a perk. As I see it, a perk to a bunch of selfish people that don't care about the real time it takes to baby sit everyone. It must have been an incredibly difficult decision to ban anyone. These are not heartless people here. I am sure they had to weigh heavily the decision that was made. I am also sure no one took joy in potentially reducing someones income. I am a supporter of TOB and will continue to do so. I will tell you why. They have an advertising site that represents the type of escort I am. That simple. It is a classy and beautiful looking site. I do not want my ads to be surrounded by clips of porn and links to substandard and unethical sex sites. TOB puts the focus on the beauty of the women and the site makes all of us look equally inviting. I also get actual costumer service. A real person will help me with my technical issue always in a timely manner by someone on staff or a volunteer. Read that word : volunteer. People actually give up time out of their real lives to help us. I have been edited countless times on the forum. So what? It is their forum and we are allowed to play there. We just have to follow some basic kindergarten play-ground rules. Get over it people. Open your eyes and see they just want to keep their site classy. I will continue to support and recommend TOB as a quality advertising source to my fellow escorts. It is their choice to do so or not. It is not my job to try and force anyone into it. I use many forums, primarily because they are each strong in certain geographical regions. If I go to Dallas, you can bet I'm using ECCIE. Denver? TOB. I am not going to change these habits just because of a disagreement between two factions on a local board, no matter how dirty each side plays. But I am glad that you mentioned the tone of the two boards. There is a much more bitter edge in general to the postings on ECCIE. If you visit the men's only forums, you will find the tone to be quite misogynistic. As a guy who does not complain when asked to use a condom, does not attempt to haggle over prices, and is willing to accept and not push a provider's boundaries, I find that guys like me are scorned and ridiculed there. I would think that providers would prefer clients like me, and would be flocking to the more "genteel" sites like TOB and TER. Because of the opposing camps of misogyny and misandry there, many of the posts you come across are downright cruel. From both men and women. It is not a place for the faint of heart. And if you thought the drama was bad here, go spend a day or two perusing some of the Kansas City, Dallas, or even the National forums there. Be sure to bring your burn crème. So, I agree. Posted April 14, 2016 To OP and any choosing likewise to stay: very glad to hear that! This board is easily the best of the imperfect options to choose from at present. It has its warts, but the best way to change it is to stay and push for/contribute to change, not leave. That being said there is board behaviour and there is all the crap that goes on outside the board amongst some participants. So far as I know not much to be done about the off board other than not allowing it to be promoted here and spill onto here and certainly not to allow the board to be a tool to facilitate the off board bullshit. I hope recent action by mods is a productive START toward those ends. Thanks for perhaps trying at least, and for as I said offerring the best available imperfect option! Now.
