Those of you you use the review board- should in return the favor to your brethren. I have seen these excuses written here:

* I am afraid my wife, girlfriend, boss, neighbors, _______(insert world!) will find out that I am a whoremonger.

* I want to be selfish and keep her for myself.

* Fuck the bitch.

If you are so afraid of what may happen to you, how do you get out of bed in the morning. And just maybe a whore board is not really the thing for you.

I use the review board here at TOB a lot. I also write reviews. I actually had a pretty good conversation with some other clients, as well as providers, in the chat room earlier this evening. Good input. I think maybe I’ll change the way I’ve been doing my reviews. I think I need to write more of them.

I got a kick out of the last part of your post, Jez! A friend once told me that deciding to get out of bed in the morning might be the last conscious decision a person ever gets to make.

True enough!

If a guy is to lazy or doesn't want to write a review then they should just say so.... Either way it's optional IMO even if you use the review board.

But what happens when everyone thinks that way? Those that like to use reviews but not contribute are those that take it for granted and assume that there will always be new reviews. If it is not cyclical and not everyone plays their part then the system breaks.

Jez I really feel you and have stated this opinion many times. Ask Hgritstoo how passionate I am about this topic. :P

Regarding Jez's post, any or all the excuses listed are just that. If my wife, boss, co-worker or even the greeter at Wallyworld is able to find my reviews and glean any info from them that might be incriminating, well then #1, I am not exactly doing a "bang up job" of being discrete. If LE finds them, goes through the trouble to figure out who I am, and uses them against me, then the least of my problems will be the SO leaning I posted a review. Just knowing that I spent time with an ASP will probably be enough!

As far as the "I am selfish and want to keep her for myself" excuse, yeah right. You found her, so will others. And unless you plan to see her every single day, how long do you think she will remain in the industry and available to you at all?

And the last - "Fk that bitch" excuse. If you feel that way - then go ahead and enjoy those 3G visits, 15 min quickies and leave the quality provers to the rest of us.

Personally I will usually send an email a day or two after our session and ask if she would like me to post a review, knowing that some would rather not be reviewed. This is especially the case when it was a good session. If I had a poor time, for any reason, I am far more likely to post one with our without her input.

Does this mean that those of us who don't "use" the review board are exempt from writing reviews?

While I agree that the responses you cited are specious at best, it is(and always will be) a personal decision wether to write a review. I've been on here a long time and I've never seen anyone post "fuck that bitch" in response to a query as to why they don't write reviews.

Face it: some do, some don't; some say they will and then won't; the main thing to keep in mind is reviews are and always have been by and for clients. While I understand that there are potential ancillary benefits to providers, some(who shall remain nameless) seem to have quite a bee in their bonnets regarding reviews; and I suspect, given the tenor of some of their(your) other posts, that helping the brethren is not the main motivation for this post.

some(who shall remain nameless) seem to have quite a bee in their bonnets regarding reviews;

I am a review advocate. Every time someone responds to a 411 info request with a thumbs up, and no corresponding review, it irks me.

If the "thumbs-up-responders" had written a review, the 411 might not be neccessary. In addition, the more data available, the easier it is to see trends and outliers. 50 reviews give a more accurate picture than 5.

Anyone who posts here, and says "I don't do reviews" mystifies me. If you have the time to post, you have the time to do a review. LE couldn't care less about your review, but the rest of us do. :)

While I agree in part(the larger the information pool the better), I call bullshit on a good part of this post.

1. Posting imprecations to gents to post reviews is a common theme that Jez seems to like to visit over and over. It is my sincere belief that reviews are for clients. Although to qualify that(like I should have previously done), there are a good many gents here that post reviews not for clients, but for ASP's(maybe they are hoping to duplicate your experience)

2. Reviewing what can be for some, a highly personal and intimate experience, may be distasteful for a variety of reasons. It is not really up to you, or anyone else to heap derision on those that choose not to.

3. Considering your previous abuse of the review system, I don't think you are the best one to demand that others submit reviews.

4. As for reducing the 411's: not only are 411's a primary reason for this site(and others like it), but I could cite posts from today that are 411's on well reviewed providers. Doesn't look like they are reducing the queries that much. Besides, they are usually prefaced by "411 on..." If they agitate you that much, there's a simple solution...

Jez's posts asking for reviews is about as frequent as 2big's posts on providers exit strategy. Both are getting boring.

Speaking of bullshit - reviewing is a personal, intimate experience? That's a load. Just like you, I'll heap derision on anyone I wish.

3. Considering your previous abuse of the review system, I don't think you are the best one to demand that others submit reviews.

I never abused anything. I did reviews of PAID appointments with an escort. I checked whether boyfriends reviewing girlfriends was against the rules. It wasn't. So...I feel no shame in asking others to do reviews.

4. As for reducing the 411's:

You're probably right. People will, unfortunately, post 411s regardless of whether reviews exist.

If they agitate you that much, there's a simple solution:cool:

411s don't agitate me at all. When people respond to 411s, who saw the girl, but did not do a review, THAT irks me.

And once again this shows why reviews are worthless for the guys. A boyfriend, pimp, or husband review is no different than a self review and should be cause for the same banning of the reviewer and the provider.

Positive reviews causes the provider's phone to ring more and a bad review causes the provider's phone to ring less.

Gawd, must you insinuate and nag? No where in this thread have I asked for someone to review me.

Are you trying to emulate toobig?

You forgot a pretty big one:

* I don't want to get blacklisted or publicly flamed for the "crime" of writing a honest review.

Maybe if less escorts flipped out the moment a guy gives a review that's not a "fantastic", more guys would be willing to go through the hassle of doing them.

I know some people who only post reviews so they can stroke their egos. They will not see an ASP a week after a session because they can't give another review but rave how great it was and want to do it again.

Then why does she start all these threads?

http://www.theotherboard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31875

http://www.theotherboard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24388

and that's just on the first two pages.....

Why? The same reason you dog just about every post I have ever written, darlin' twobig. At least I am not so anal as to go back through the archives and bring up threads highlighting this.

Sometimes I really think you must not have much of a life outside this venue. As it seems you spend a awful lot of time on here , bitching about us, and anyone else whom you deem a fool, and not on your level. (sic)

Once in awhile 2big, I agree with you, and I have seen you show great compassion when least expected. But mainly sir, you come off as that horse's ass you are so fond of flogging. Step away from the keyboard, get outside more. Maybe you will then decide (after getting away from all this) that people who have a different viewpoint then yours are not all idiots, but just have a different perspective then yours.

And now for the real reason I write about reviews.

And honestly, everyone, this is how I feel. About this review thread and any and any prior ones concerning reviews n the first place. I really didn't do it to goad 2big into a argument. I put this on here as a reminder that we all realize that reviews are important. Important to guys, and important to the ladies. A review gives credibility to us all. They help our business. And they help a man determine if we are the type they want. I use them when I research a guy. I want to know if he is a good fit for my personality. I want -fun! So any info I can find, I appreciate. I want to know if I should say yes to their request to meet me, or if I should say ,"I am sorry, but I don't think our personalities would be good together".

Many of us myself included, should read this over and over again!
