Too many okays??

TOO MANY OKAYS??

I?m not sure why this is bothering me, but I thought I would post and try to keep this civil and I definitely WON?T mention a name. But maybe you?ve already run into her. An appointment was set up, but then we decided to cancel because it would have just been weird. Do I write a review and point this person out? I typically don?t.

The bottom line, at least that was her reason for bailing out a few hours before the appointment was that I had TOO MANY okays through P411. WHAT? Now I?m typically pretty good at thinking on my feet, but I had nothing to say. Thoughts were going through my head about how many people she has seen, but I don?t get to know that. It doesn?t bother me. But the double standard of too many okays? Really?

I should have known something was up when she tried to push doubles with her friend, who was also in town, at LEAST 4 different times during the text conversation. Included with the ?no? was a feeble explanation of why I don?t like doubles. They just don?t work very well with me. I didn?t NOT go into detail about what my expectations are during a doubles session and so far none have met those pretty high expectations. I mean c?mon, we?re guys. We watch porn so we have some expectations. So anyway, back to the whole too many okays thing.

While on the phone with her (two hours before the appointment) she started quizzing me. First name (didn?t she see my email and text?). Last name (um why). What do I do for a living. Do I consider myself a hobbiest? How often do I see providers? If you do the math from the ?too many okays? it?s about 2-3 a month. I?ve been on P411 for 4.5 years. And a few more questions. Isn?t that what P411 is for? We could talk about what I do for a living when we meet. I dunno. The quizzing was weird, but that was all before she fessed up and said I had too many okays. She also mentioned that I said something ?gross? in my text. I try to be funny. Maybe when I was trying to explain WHY I didn?t want to do doubles for the 4th time I said I could see them individually. Probably not back to back sessions. I?m not a machine. I thought that was funny. Maybe she found THAT gross. I dunno.

So I?m probably gonna be shredded for this. Maybe some find this offensive, but I was curious if this has happened to anybody else.

Take care, and Happy Hobbying!

There is a guy on another board who has over 500 P411 OKs, so unless you are him, I think you are alright. For some reason many ladies (even well-reviewed/established) think X amount of reviews is high (plug in what X is). One told me she believes many gents with 20+ reviews, have a checklist of things they want accomplished and if those things aren't met, than a less than stellar review will be placed upon them. It makes sense to her, but not to me. Oh well.

As with other posts you've seen where providers won't see certain groups of guys for their reasons, just move on to the ones that will see you. As far as writing a review, since it did not take place or no time was set, I don't think it qualifies.

Thank TER for that. If certain services are not performed, the level of the review is restricted.

Me? My expectations are that we have a good time. My 'checklist' has more to do with attitude & atmosphere than services. I will admit that there are certain ladies who advertise special services. When I book with these YL I hope to indulge in these services; but if it doesn't happen, no big deal. I still expect to have a good time. On the rare occasion that a session absolutely blows my socks off ...

In 40+ reviews, I have 2-FANTASTICs (one was a group grope, there was also a 3rd, but she retired), and 3-AVERAGE. If you go into the archives you will also find a few NCNS reviews.

You got lucky. Doesn't sound like someone I'd want to spend an hour with, let alone pay for the privilege. That's just weird.

Your one of the reviewers who is beyond honest in writing your reviews. When I read your reviews, I notice a Fantastic mean just that once in life time, Very good is just that.

I have had this happen before, was not a problem for me. Just moved on. It is her thing, I really cannot say anything ,have passed on ladies for having too many reviews and I mean hundreds of reviews.

Which begs the question: How many ok's do you have?

It would be interesting to know what number is considered too many. Also, please PM with the name of this provider.

Also, I have been noticing of late the sneers and curling of the upper lip when providers refer to "hobbiests." How does one avoid being branded as such by providers, while at the same time responding to requests by providers to post reviews?

As a businessman, I frequently get frustrated by some of my clients, but I never view or treat them with contempt.

To answer your question, no, you should not post a review. The appointment was canceled a couple of hours ahead of time. As long as the appointment was canceled, regardless of the reason, no matter how crazy, there is nothing to review. I wouldn't share the person's identity publicly, but you may want to share through pm with those who ask, up to you.

I've been told by a pretty cautious provider that 9-10 OK's is optimal. I'll PM the YL's name.

Oh oh. I'm in the upper 20s. Guess that means I'm a bad client. Providers don't like clients who see providers. Who could have seen that coming?!?

Time to start deleting them, I guess.

If you see providers you are just plain bad! ;)

Well, it's just one provider, and this thread is only the 2nd time I've heard of this notion. Maybe some providers will chime in here....

Each provider does her own thing. I don't have a problem if you guys see 1-5 girls or 1,00000's of girls. It none of my business what you do. Your not my husband, I do not feel I should stick my nose where it doesn't belong.

So here's another perspective - maybe she's intimidated by the fact that you are obviously are spending the majority of your visits with P411 providers, i.e., higher quality women.

I didn't really worry about OKs after I got 3-4, since that seemed adequate to get appointments. Then I found out that the ladies get "points" if I request an OK after an appointment, so I started requesting them, mostly as a courtesy to them. Then I got so many, I started deleting them to stay around 10.

After all, when I am trying to make a good first impression and get an appointment I don't want to look like a slut :D

Good reason for me to delete the "deadwood" out of my list anyway - down to about 15. I only occasionally request OKs - I have no idea how many I'd have if I did that for every visit. Three digits?

If the points-reward thing is true, I'll start asking for more if it helps the gals.

Something to remember: On repeat visits your OK gets updated. You do not get a new OK. I think the ASP still gets points (Gina, correct me if I'm wrong about that.)

So the guy w/500 has seen 500 different ladies.

How old are those OKs? Current practice is that she can only give you an OK after you request it.

As for women you've 'never seen', are you sure? When a YL changes her stage name, you're OK (& other fields like Favorites) remains but with the new name.

Good observation; if I see a name change I always check my notes associated with the P411 provider

To see who they once were...

Interesting. I don't use the Notes feature much. Perhaps I should.

You might want to contact P411 about that, and they will be able to spark your memory. ;)

And I have OKs from a provider I saw in Denver, but she works in FL today.

Not sure how much you travel GQ, but maybe you saw these YL someplace else. Check the dates on those OKs; it might spark some memories. And as Gina said, contact P411 who may help you connect the dots.

Also remember: Memory is the 2nd thing to go. 😜

I don't remember what was 1st.

Providers change names, and they travel.

Chances are really good that you saw them in Denver, perhaps working under a different name. Either that or you are requesting Okays from providers you've never seen... ;)

Probably best to contact P411, a public board isn't a great place to discuss your account.

Dude, only YOU could OKs without even thinking about it.

Your charms must flow through the keyboard and permeate the 'net.

I like to keep the OKays for sentimental reasons. Some of my OKays are from ladies who've since "retired".

I recently got some push-back from a lady who felt I had too many OKays -- that was 9 at the time. She said LE does that to look legitimate. (Really? Seems like a lot of work for little payback.) Anyway, after I saw her she gave me an unsolicited OKay! What a hoot -- now I'm up to 10! :D

It's possible that they had an issue with a specific person who had given you an OK. Rather than make an issue of it, they just said "too many". For instance, they may know or even just suspect that a specific provider engages in unsafe practices. It wouldn't be unreasonable for them to refuse to see clients who had been with that provider. If it's something they suspect, but aren't sure of, I can see why they wouldn't really want to explain why they didn't want to see you.

Bit, This was true. When I had a P411 account, I received OK's from unknown providers. When I contacted the owner, I was told that I forgot and did not remember seeing the provider. One OK was from out an of state provider. I had never been in that state.
