Since I have been quite vocal on this topic and am certain that I am one of those whose name won't be mentioned I ask that you pick through my posting history and find all the man hating examples. I would also love to see all the client bashing, I am pretty sure it's not bashing just the "ugly truth" like we providers have to listen to.

Laplace didn't even realize providers had feelings until he watched some on TV, this is the guy that we are really listening to? The guy who has minimal understanding and about equal amounts of empathy?? I refuse to believe that Laplace has a firm grasp on the morality of this business.

You guys truly have no idea what it's like to view all of this from a providers eyes, to deal with things that we have to deal with. Many of you are sympathetic to the cause and thank you for that but there are still many who don't understand and they are often the first to offer advice or tell you to shut up and grow a thicker skin.

In my business and even here on this board I have been called a cunt, slut, whore, hooker, cum dumpster, bitch, fat and ugly. I have been lied to, stolen from, physically violated and ripped off. And yet after 5 years I can get up and do what I do with a smile on my face. Thankfully the nice, kind gentlemen outnumber the not so nice guys, it's something to look forward and helps stave off the bitterness.

So by leaving the position, I will reclaim my ability to pick and choose what threads I read and participate in.

I actually quite like 2big, always have. I also like CrazyHorse and Redacted, and many of the other posters who have at one time or another posted something that may have really pissed me off. I like their brash personalities, and respect them for their (often brutal) honesty.

What I don't like, is when an effort is made to make posts that are pointedly hurtful and rude. However, I'm not perfect either and I've said plenty of things that I shouldn't have over the years. I just want the ability to separate myself from that which offends me, and as Administrator/Moderator I don't have that option.

From the beginning I understood what you were saying. I too often get tired of reading the women hating posts AS WELL AS the men hating posts. That's why I often leave the board for weeks or months at a time. I could never give up on my adopted dysfunctional family though so I keep coming back. Yes please take some time for yourself to clear the head and heart but don't leave us completely. I'd surely miss my sexy aunt with the independent lifestyle that I've admired for so long.

I have been following this ridiculous thread for a few days now. both sides are correct as there is much harassment on this forum going in BOTH directions. each side is too stubborn and immature to admit the other is right. I agree with Gina that the bashing makes most of the forum not worth reading. some people come here to hobby safely and have fun, I read the bashing because once in a while I can help one of these people. the trolls really need to grow up, on both sides of the fence.

There are some real aholes on here that are looking for a hole, any hole. Some real assholes that seem to make themselves feel better by makiing others feel bad. I agree. of the five ladies I have met, only one was doing this for the wrong reason IMO (substance abuse). The other four are in this career, for legitimate reasons. Three of the four actually seem to really like what they do. With flexible work schedule and decent money while [snip} being reason number one. There's nothing wrong with that if they can deal with the shit that goes along with escorting.

I myself am a bit defective while working through my shit from a recent breakup. I am just glad these ladies have been here for me. I have healed more from a few hours of affection from these sexy, caring ladies than I did from months of weekly marriage counseling. The angels of mercy moniker applies. The amazing Bernini sculpture called "The Ecstacy of Saint Teresa" comes to mind. There is healing in sexual connection. I was blessed through meeting these ladies.

Well said, Nikki Holliday. Do you think the "hooker" name is misogynistic? It's a bit crass, but it's also been used to describe the oldest profession for a very long time. I know that "John" is not a particularly attractive moniker, but "client" is euphemistic and ASP is just plain goofy.

Personally I always thought that the most hobbyists recognize rhe obvious difference between one's physiological needs to fuck a female and not caring too much about what is cooking in a hooker's head at any given time. .
