CO ASPs In The News

18 posts in this topic

BRILLIANT! Somehow i just bet MR. cop was not expecting to be jumped when he pulled his cop game on the girls. Life is definetly hard, harder when your stupid. As these ladies are finding out.

I can see it now-the cop gets to be a hero, and they get time for attempted murder of a peace officer in the line of duty.

"(Two of the girls) were arrested Saturday morning when they returned to the hotel to collect their belongings, the report said."

They had already gotten away, but returned to collect their stuff. Stupid is as stupid does... Prostitution stings are a waste of taxpayer money, but...use your noggin.

I am in total head scratching mode here....seriously!? The best thing they could have done was sit down SHUT UP and SAY NOTHING and ASK FOR YOUR LAWYER. The stupidity of some people just amazes me. They could have been charged with possession and prostitution, but noooo had to go screw that up.

Confrontation sparks our "Fight or Flight" reflex. When we are in a dangerous situation, evolution has conditioned us to fight back or run away.

Regardless of whether we are providers or clients, we must condition ourselves to overcome this impulse when confronted by LE.

Rule#1: SHUT THE FUCK UP. They may or may not have you. NOTHING YOU SAY CAN MAKE THINGS BETTER.....BUT MAY MAKE THINGS A LOT WORSE. Don't talk. Don't explain. Don't offer to help. Don't answer any questions. Don't say yes. Don't say no. Don't say "I don't know." Don't. Don't. Don't. You can get pissed off later. Remain calm

Rule#2: Don't resist. Sit. or stand, as requested. Let the officer move you like a doll, if required.

Rule#3: SHUT THE FUCK UP! If you absolutely can't stop your gums from flapping, train them to only say 3 things.....over and over:

A) "Am I being detained?"

B) if the answer to A is 'no'....Then you can ask "Am I free to go?" If they say yes to that, don't say another word. Just get the hell outta there.

C) If the answer to A is 'yes', You can say "I am invoking my right to not speak until I consult with my attorney." Repeat this like a mantra to every question or statement they make.

Rule#4: Once you see your lawyer, you can be as crazy-assed pissed as you want. But he'll be happy if you followed rules 1-3.

"Crimes against nature": in this case, a blow job.

You sometimes see local laws phrase it along the lines of "unnatural" acts, "deviant", and so forth. Blow jobs, in some jurisdictions are considered sodomy. Of course, Greek REALLY falls into these categories, and REALLY illegal (in the past, seen that charge brought to gay males).

Basically, some state/local laws pretty much make anything other than straight sex with your spouse, a crime (yes, even straight missionary with a girl friend can be technically illegal some places).

For the record, according to Wikipedia, "A crime against nature or unnatural act is a form of sexual behavior that is not considered natural and is seen as a punishable offense by law. Sexual practices that have historically been considered by some to be "crimes" against nature include homosexual acts, anal sex, bestiality, incest, miscegenation and necrophilia. Other less common examples include heterosexual fellatio and cunnilingus, other non-procreative sexual practices, or procreative sexual acts in the wrong position or without procreative intent, even between married couples." Based on the article none of these were offered unless they're talking about "a sexual act in the wrong position" (Huh????) or it was "without procreative intent" (in which case 99% of all married couples should be thrown in jail).

Too bad these dumb ladies turned misdemeanors into felonies. Duh.

For the record, from the article:

"solicited the detective, offering oral sex and intercourse in exchange for $200".

"Oral sex", that's fellatio. And per Wikipedia: "Fellatio (also known as fellation,[1] and colloquially blowjob, BJ, giving head, or sucking off[2]) is an act of oral stimulation of the penis by a sexual partner or by oneself".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fellatio

ADD: bangin' a hooker, your're hoping for non-procreative sex, so, more "crime against nature", since not boning wife for species propogation.

Like I posted earlier, lots of outdated laws out there based on religious reasons that DAs today can use for their purposes.

No way this was an official sting. This was an off duty looking for a discount. You'd have 2-3 cops in the next room with recording equipment or at least your partner would be backing you up nearby. You'd also have the exits covered at the bottom of the stairwell in case of flight risk.

He didn't expect a melee and so he was forced to report it. I'm going to google alert this case and watch it because I bet this thing disappears real quick and the girls are issued misdemeanors for littering or something.

I have some friends who are female cops (not any longer) who used to be involved in street walker busts. You had 5-8 people involved with those. No way is NOLA doing one man stings... this is laughable.

I'd argue, on the contrary, that this could easily be an official sting with poor planning and incompetent tactics on part of the police (note the line "and escorted her back to the room to wait for other deputies"). I don't know, but I'm thinking "all police operations are well planned" is not a correct assumption.

It is kind of funny how NOLA has a wild rep, but it is in the south and some very restrictive laws on the books. In strip clubs "nude dancers" wear pasties and g-strings.

Damn that is funny. Now after seeing the actual pics were they charging $200 or offering to pay $200?
