Backpage or escortboard?

It appears that you were directing this poll at the gents, but I would like to throw my two cents out there as well. I prefer backpage because it makes my phone ring 10 times more than escortboards. Definitely more weirdos on backpage but I can deal with it.

If you can verify someone on backpage enough to feel comfortable, use it.

Otherwise, most EB/EP posters have a track record that can make you can feel safe with meeting them.

I don't like the implications given on your choices, so I'll offer up another one.

Escortboards - Higher quality/More informative ads.

EB does not have the picture and information restrictions that backpage does. Ads can have more than 4 pictures. They can have website and review links added. They can be updated and changed during the day, so they tend to have better availabilty information.

I personally use EB WAY more than BP. If I do use BP it is for body rubs. My problem with BP is the amount of ass hats, time wasters, game players, ect. By using EB I know the quality of client to expect most of the time, they know what I expect/require for an appointment, and Like Nusa said, I can use pics I want...include whatever text I want and in my experience the clientele is 1000% better.

In CO, I seldom even look at BP. I tend to use EB to check availability and most of the ladies I visit are present on EB.

Out of CO, I tend to use P411, but will also use BP. I need to do more research when using BP.

Use EB ,TOB , probably 99% of the time. You can find some gems once in awhile on BP, but you have to be good at doing your homework. There are ladies that do use both and to me these are the safest on BP.

You're missing an option for variety/quantity.

I use Backpage mostly because in COS at least, there are many more options. Escortboards typically has the same 2-3 fine and established ladies but that's it.

I live in COS and like variety so BP is my main source.

Speaking as a provider, BP is a crap shoot. I use it occasionally. I use EB far more, but as a rule I like staying busy without having to advertise which is more the norm. As a part-timer, The less I have my face/name on advertiseing sites, the less chance of exposure to the wrong types of entities (meaning LE). Or people whom I work with, friends, school people who know me, etc. But I find it best to keep the degree of exposure at the working basis which I use. I don't look at being a escort as a popularity gig, I look at as a means to meet gentlemen who know how to research before they meet with me on a personal level. This type of sporadic advertising may not work for all escorts , but it does give me the business AND the comfort level I desire.

It seams that clients from EB ads are more educated in the ettiquette that we use then clients who we pick up from BP. This isn't to imply that all are rude and crude and /or stupid. Because like you gentlemen, once in awhile you can find a real gem amongst the rocks. BP is like the old Craigslist site . Which is where many of us got our start in this line of work-if you can call it work.

EB is more add friendly. BP limits us, and will change the wording in our ads if they want to. Pics are limited to no private(semi-private) areas to be shown, they are not fond of acronyms, the term girl friend is hard to get past censure-ship.

We all sort of stumble along the information highways when we begin this adventure until we find a venue in which we feel a degree of safety and comfort within the cyber world. When you jump to the next level , you are in a sense opening yourself to possibilities which can then become out of your control. I think most people are here because, plainly put, they just want to share a intimate moment, no strings attached. I know that is why I am here. I have what some want.

i only use backpage and only occasionally. i have a healthy group of regular encounters so i dont post much. like jez, i also keep a very low profile so i dont have a website nor any other links where i can be found through a link.

members of my core group were mostly first-timers back when i was a first-timer and never went elsewhere. others see others (they dont say but i assume) but still regularly see me.

so doing research wont reveal much more than my few backpage postings and the stolen-from-backpage postings that cityvibe and adult ff has been guilty of using.

I've used BP 3 times and was grossly disappointed. I'll stick with P411 where I can customized my selections. I've never had a bad experience. From a marketing standpoint I can see where Providers would use BP, based upon the info that Destiny shared with us. I have been on EB, but it doesn't tell you what's on the menu.
