I've been holding out hope that maybe they did get delayed and she will reach out to me with a perfectly plausible explanation, but that is starting to seen awfully unlikely. Just found out that both of their hobby numbers have been disconnectd. I'm also open to the possibility that someone has hacked her email and that Winter has no knowledge of this, but I've reached out to both via TOB today and have not gotten a response from either. If anyone is considering booking with these two, I suggest you proceed with caution, because I'm pretty sure I just got scammed. My suggestion is also to corroborate the narrative that you were provided when she did respond, which was, "while traveling they had run into delays due to winter storms". If she is a provider with positive reviews and/or an established reputation on the site, managing to continue a open thread of conversation. Maintaining, good rapport within the community. I, am from Southern California, so when moving to Colorado a few years ago I had learne that there are late winter storms around the end of the winter solstice beginning of spring. Means of communication was not the problem. I did corroborate the narrative... I did not make this post lightly. I confirmed that it was a scam and that I had been had. At least one other member of this community fell for it, and probably others, both locally and around the country. They had been working a number of other cities. I tracked them for a while, and reached out to the sites they had been posting on. I've not seen anything from them in a while. Obviously I don't know for sure what really was/is going on, but I do have a gut feeling. There's no way at least one of these two ladies aren't involved in this long-term scam. It's either them doing it or they've given a lot of information, both contact info and personal info, to someone else. There was a comment in one of the emails from Winter that seemed to reference a conversation I had with Kat the first time I saw her. Like whoever I was emailing with had access to notes about me. I got a lot of offline feedback from ladies in our hobby and one told me that she had heard, just ancedotally of course, of ladies who are leaving the business running a scam like this against old clients who would trust her. Don't know if that is true at all, but it does feel that that is what happened here. It's true that they are still running the scam and working it hard. Rates have increased so I'm guessing they are making out pretty well. Posted April 27, 2022 What made this one tough is the fact that Winter Kay, while not local, was a frequent visitor with a truckload of very positive reviews, making a deposit request seem safer. She either went rogue on us or had her site hacked. I notice we haven't seen or heard from her for quite a while. A lot of providers when they retire they don't look back, so unless someone knows her IRL, and knows her RL contact info, and talked to her, she wouldn't necessarily know what's going on. I do know phone numbers can be spoofed because several local providers were targeted a couple years ago. I was totally surprised to learn what someone can do with your number. The spoofer was texting from the providers phone number. They had access to their contacts too. It was all really bizarre and meant to cause chaos, not to steal, but it was fucked up none the less. So it can happen. I don't know about the email thing or website thing, so I can't speak to what's really going on. "Great reviews & reputation" , sold on the prepay threesome pitch. Showed up at scheduled place & time .... NOTHING!! Tried reaching out to no avail! No attempt to upsell. Then after I paid, the conversation went on for 3 more days. Joking, flirting, really had me looking forward to it. Even when I couldn't get a confirmation the night before, I still expected to wake up and see a message with directions on where to meet. Right up until the time of the appointment I held out hope. Was probably a pretty pitiful site, sitting there refreshing email and looking at the phone every 30 seconds. Then, and only then did I do the research I should have done earlier and it became pretty obvious what had happened. Oh well, live and learn I guess. I fell for the same EXACT SCAM!! Fortunately I've already frozen the prepaid method and contacted original way I purchased prepaid method and one way or another I'm getting my deposit refunded!
