Posted April 26, 2016 Anybody else losing their mind with this back & forth weather? I can't seem to bring enough clothes with me anywhere that will accommodate the weather conditions in a single day. I will literally go from booty shorts & a sports bra to warm pants & a winter jacket within a few hours. Not sure if things are as bad over on the eastern side of Colorado, but in the western slope it's nuts.

Posted April 26, 2016 Right?! Glad I'm not alone. Yesterday I started bundled up, two hours later was close to nothing and took a walk, by the time I got back I was freezing yet again. >.< I love wearing cute outfits it's hard like this.
Posted April 26, 2016 Just spring time in Colorado, however the weather is really changing alot lately. Remember a year ago we had a tornado moving north to south, unheard of before.
Posted April 27, 2016 I remember many years ago downtown it was 80 degrees in the morning and I was in shorts and t-shirt, by 1:30 pm it was in the 30's. I had to rush into a thrift store, (it was the closest store with warm clothing), and buy some warm clothing to survive that afternoon.

That happened a few years ago too, the difference in temp at the beginning of the day and the end of the day was over thirty degrees.

A few years ago I was in shorts sweating doing yard work, as I was finishing up it started to snow. Gardening and a couple other things here are a challenge! Enjoy!

Posted May 1, 2016 Horrible here in Aspen right now-One minute nice sunshine, then I could literally see the snow blowing in over the mountains. Temp dropped about 20 degrees in seconds and boom-blizzard! I keep a gym bag in my car with all different layers...always You get caught in a snow storm in a tank top and yoga pants only once-then you fill a gym bag haha
Posted May 1, 2016 Been here 40 years and the rule of thumb is layer, layer, layer. In Steamboat in January 1980 several days temperature swing was -30 at 6 AM 4 layers, +32 at noon with brilliant sunshine 1 layer, 6 PM -2 3 layers. It's a fact of life here. Never put away your summer or winter wardrobe. Nice thing nowadays is the blossoming of the escort business where you can shed all layers and be very warm.

I think Colorado is the reason those long sleeve t-shirts exist. Vests are also a staple of the Colorado wardrobe.

I pretty much stay in booty shorts and sports bra all year long, I think all the extra hair I've grown insulates me against the cold. Lol 🐒🐏🐻
