Posted December 18, 2014 Just an observation about how some providers donations swing dramatically-sometimes in the same day. I've seen some ads where the donation nearly doubles within 24 hrs and others where the 15 min rate becomes the 30 min donation. I'm curious about what others make of this.....speaking for myself- It makes me a bit skittish about seeing those ASPs as I am concerned about confusion during the appointment and their overall general mental stability. I personally have certain days that I lower my donations because it means that other gentleman will be able to visit with me, that otherwise would have to wait. Or sometimes my donations are more due to traveling expenses, demand and the cost of the over head I have..(hotels, posting, etc) hope this helps! I'll advertise $400 and try to pay the bill with one client" 2:00 pm - "phone's not ringing, rent is still due, I'll advertise $200 special" 5:00 pm - "phew - just made the rent. Rate goes back up to $400" 8:00 pm - "oops, Aunt Flo is here, $100 specials tonight" Rule #1 - hookers will charge whatever they think they can get. It's not about "fun", it's about money. Posted December 18, 2014 Personally, I try to choose girls who rarely change their rates (because I don't want to show up short on the fee). I also am looking at their ad when I call. and will say something like "I'm bringing $400 for the two hours, per your escortboards ad. See you soon!" With me it isn't so much advertised rates change as it is those rates are not what the reviews state. I know the ladies will have specials and that can be another reason for fluctuation. Sometimes pre-booking results in a different price too! Whatever the reasons, I always confirm our agreed upon donation either on the phone, text or email. That way no one is embarrassed. Posted December 18, 2014 I think it's a good idea to state the donation ahead of time on the confirmation call . Otherwise, as far as I know providers change their fees for several reasons, like the ones Rachel mentioned. It is truly an experiment in pure, laissez faire capitalism, with the notable exception of the market being skewed (perhaps considerably) by illegality. OK -- This is interesting -- I have always thought that mentioning money, especially a specific amount of money, on the phone call was strictly forbidden by most quality providers. I guess I got that impression because a lot of postings indicate that any discussion of activities was forbidden. I have always managed to do OK with a new lady, I guess just lucky, but I would really have liked to firm things up (pun intended) ahead of time in a few cases. Is it really OK to discuss donations on the phone calls before meeting? I was thinking along the lines of: "I understand that your donation for your time and companionship is $250 for the hour, is that correct?" My all time favorite years ago (now retired, sniffle) would run a daily "special rate" ad every day on EB - same price every day for months - special, yeah right. Meanwhile her EP, p411 and CL/BP rates were all different. You can find many current examples of that any day. Simple. If you haven't seen her before just go with "I saw your ad on XYZ and would like an hour of your time. I consider the rate locked when I book (unless she says otherwise when booking). If she changes her rates in the interim, up or down, we both should honor the contract established at the time of booking the appointment. Even if she decides to run a special on the day of the appointment, I should still pay last week's rate. Even better...make the rate question not the First question out of your mouth..(many do..ughgh) "you avail? how much?" NO send her your verification/P411 info/references..up front. What makes providers squeamish about discussing rates is not rates...but wondering if you are LE trying to put something in writing or voice to entrap them...so dispel that issue right away with screening in your intro. Guys want specials..They Don't want fluctuating rates: Damn if you do, damn if you don't... too many advertising boards..to change.. a couple of members came up with good ways to tackle "I saw your ad today on TOB at $300 for your time, correct? hate to get it wrong.
