I'm not sure to "what" escort section you are referring to, so i'll try to explain it.

Escort Boards does not offer a Body Rub section for advertising, BR are lumped with all advertising

SoWet only allows Spas to advertise separately. Body Rubs and Indi/Agency ads are also lumped together

Backpage does separate Body Rubs and Escort advertising

I'm not sure if ECCIE separates BR ads and Escort ads or not

So, depending upon which site you were referring to, in most cases, the advertiser has no option where they can post an ad. Meaning, research by the consumer is required.

Before this all got bogged down in semantics, your original question seemed to ponder why some providers post in both a Backpage section that offers massage based services and another that offers companionship based services.

The obvious answer would be that many providers out there offer both, or choose to be selective in who they offer what to. That's been my experience anyway and that is, by the way, why we have reviews.

The alternate answer, for those who don't do their Backpage homework, is that many of the scam artists just want maximum exposure for their intended victims.

The firestorm you created with your question can be attributed more to the way Backpage chooses how to label their categories than what actually may transpire between two consenting adults.

For future reference when you're browsing a site that doesn't distinguish categories of services, generally (and in the absence of reviews), you only have to look at the rates to figure it out.

actually I have tried to explain things before but you can never make everyone happy so I rather make it simple and say I do what I want and you do what you want. I have been doing BODY RUBS & FETISHES for a little over 5 years. I post both in Body Rubs, Fetishes & YES....under ESCORTS too.

Why you ask?

1. Because I can, & no one has the right to tell me how to run my business...wether you agree or disagree I will always do as I see fit.

2. There are many guys who never look under "Body Rubs"...and it gives me more exposure & access to those guys.

With ALL HONESTY I have NEVER provided full service for $....this is not being said for discretion purposes. So lets clear the waters...I HAVE had sex with 2 clients before. One I was horny & it looked really good...the second I dated for a few months. FS has never been on my menu nor will it ever be. If you choose to believe I do in contrast to what I say that is no ones fault but your own if you come see me expecting FS.

So why do I think it's ok to post under "Escort"?
