Posted August 26, 2015 Has anyone ever actually compiled the data they've gotten from posting a poll? I should take a pole. I voted no but I am mostly impartial. Everyone always has a comment to supplement their vote so I don't usually check the polls just the replies
Posted August 26, 2015 (edited) I vote: YES.If all you have to go by is the replies you have to colate the data yourself. With the poll response graph a quick glance establishes the consensus. The replies flesh this out with (hopefully) reasoned explanations. There is also the issue of getting a greater number of poll responses than replies, increasing the validity of the results - as this poll illustrates. Posted August 26, 2015 They can be fun, I enjoyed Cherry's polls when she was active here. They can also be quite useful for gauging community opinion on a matter. Like who likes polls.
