I am noticing this weird trend where providers are telling the world there personal problems in their ads. Here are some but are not limited to. I need rent, family in the hospital. What happen to the small hints like specials. I am sure most ASP do very well. I am not sure I am more tempted to see a provider based on her personal circumstance. The other weird situations is where a ASP goes too deep in a conversation stating past issues in her life. Tainting the rest of the session. What happened to friendly conversation.

I always wonder if those ads help generate business. I don't want any drama or hear about drama so I skip those ads just in case.

Nope. Usually a 500 character occasional post on backpage draws plenty of business.

Now you can stop wondering.

The only personal problem I'm okay with is: "My kitty's hungry and need's a stiff c..."

Last I checked, rent was due on the 1st...not the 8th. Either they have nothing more creative to come up with or they are horrible at time/money management.

My rent is due on the 14th so I think that is variable, but I do think it shows a lack of basic living skills on the part of the provider when they can't manage to put a little money away for their rent. Shoot, I was putting most of mine in savings....

I think the "I need help" triggers some fantasy for some. There is a common porn fantasy of "Amber pays her rent" kinda thing. There is also the control element.

I get it but I think it's mostly not this well thought out and someone is really just blurting out whatever enters their head.

I find myself feeling the same way as I read the ad.

Chances are she is staying in one of those high class motels that charge by the week. You know, the ones you can drive right up to the door - no stairs or elevators needed, a valet (read pimp), charming rustic exterior (read 'dump'), barbeque grilles outside every room, and a pharmacist in the parking lot. Oh yeah, and they have 'refrigerated air' and free hbo.

Two things I hate ... the "I need help with the rent" thing, and the "come see me before I go on vacation thing". I am unmoved by either. I don't like to feel like I am last resort for someone who ran out of drug money nor a banker to kick off a luxury vacation, while I am hard at work, with a bundle of cash. That's just me.

Desperation does not sell. I lost a major client, and that means I cut back on various luxuries until I find a replacement for that client. It's just a matter of time, but the next client I ensnare could not care less about how much I NEED him or her.

Add "I'm having a rate increase on Monday so see me today." to the things I don't like plus what you said.

*guilty of that phrase* but sadly, that wasn't a vacation like you described.

But you have a great point, the wording was bad. In my mind it was about letting everyone know I was going to be unavailable for a few weeks. Since I'm not trying to get in trouble for "ads", I would love to hear your thoughts (or anyone else's) via PM on a better way of making it known. I know I'm not the only Lady who takes downtime. :)

I don't think putting a vacation announcement is always a bad idea. I am usually interested in one or two ladies for my next appointment. I usually look at my hectic schedule and other things to plan my availability. If you were one that I was interested in making an appointment with and your vacation schedule conflicts with my schedule I may move up the time to schedule a visit or wait until you get back. I have moved up the date of an appointment only once because of this. I do not see it as a negative all the time. If you were not on my radar as a potential visit then your announced vacation schedule does not mean anything to me other than I hope you have a great vacation . We all deserve one!

I see nothing wrong with "going on vacation". The ladies work hard, they deserve a damn vacation!

Saying "help with rent" implies that the lady is either poor at planning or is poor at her job. I mean, most girls can probably pay the rent by doing one appointment a week.
