Provider blogs?

28 posts in this topic

On more than one occasion I've been asked if I have a blog..sadly, I don't. I don't do the website thing either, for my own paranoid discretionary reasons. However, I was thinking...what's the hurt in a blog. Well, I came to the conclusion, nothing if it's written tastefully. So, my question is... Is this something gentlemen would read/want? Where's a decent spot to start one, for something like this...basically, 18+? I've never had a problem expressing my thoughts, and perhaps it's time to online!

Yes, I love reading blogs by providers. I would encourage any lady who thinks she can write to try.

However.......as far as provider blogs go.....the bar has already been set very very high by Beverly Fisher with her "slut rants."

Indeed ! It would be impossible to top Beverly's writings. (Ok, ok, I am shilling)

But it's true.:D

Yawn. I'm not hiring Jane Austen. If you spend all your time writing instead of on your knees, your're doin' it wrong.

Yeah, yawn.

Most people can't write worth a damn, so, these type of things come off as bad "Penthouse Forum" crossed with bad "Sex in the City" (not that "Sex in the City" was ever good) crossed with "Washingtonienne" blog.

If you have that rare talent for making it entertaining and/or enlightening, hell yes! If it were the self delusional drivel found in most blogs by men and women alike irrespective of subject matter .... well too many of those flooding the net already. So hard to say since i have no knowledge of your writing skills, but if you really feel driven to do so then maybe, just maybe you fit in the first category and more power to you and i wish you luck and success. :)

too long didn't read

in this case, it was meant sarcastically for the bunch who can't read posts longer than 4 sentences in here or balk at words of more than 3 syllables.

seriously, are any of them going to read a f'ing blog?

Why should I read a blog? Not hiring a writer or poet. A "blog" tells me: this girl isn't working much.

A hooker is like a taxi cab. If the cab is sitting in the garage, it ain't makin' any money. It needs to be out on the streets picking up fares.

Has it ever occurred to you that, sometimes, a woman is more than just a fuckhole? And that includes women who are providers?

Yes, I can't deny that I'm there for a specific reason.......but the "totality" of the person I'm with (as much as is revealed to me) can enhance or ruin the experience for me.

Reading a well done provider's blog is almost like free time with the lady.......if you enjoy learning about people.

I agree with some of this....I've always believed this is a business, not a personal relationship. But, businesses have blogs that can be very interesting.

There's one from a body-rub girl in another state -- I think it's called "happyendingz..." something or other. She writes well and has a good sense of humor (and knows how to spell). I enjoy reading her blog.

The problem with a blog is that it could reveal too much about how she views her clients -- it can be difficult to be entertaining and edgy without offending a guy who recognizes a bit of himself in her writing. I think that's a reason that we don't see very many blogs of this type.

I never read a blog on the best way to remove cum stains. Or like best places to shop for toys. Or try to make your blog funny because I've never read any funny escort blogs. Or blog about how all your clients are aliens from outer space and how they all try to anal probe you.

I honestly think you'd be wasting your time starting a blog. If a provider has a blog, I'll skim it for pictures, rates, useful information that will help me make a decision. (yes/no) I really don't care about anything that you'd actually write on a website.

You could use it as a backup contact method, (email) but beyond that, any content is a waste of your time.

A provider who talks excitedly about starting a blog....is a provider stuck in the mid-90s. The days of a "Diary of a Secret Call Girl" are long gone.

Here's food for thought:

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/07/fashion/07blogs.html

Get a twitter account, a facebook fan page, post a short Vine clip on your website, etc. Plenty of ways to show off your digital know-how. "Blogging" isn't one of them.

(I'm not talking about ueber-successful "blogs" like Gawker, etc. Or the few political blogs that are still going strong).

Providers should start by designing a clean, modern-looking website, preferably optimized for mobile devices. Instead, we get cheap azz hosting, garish websites, with fonts that look like they were bought at a fire sale at Geocities, boilerplate text, etc.

To be honest, I'll come out of retirement for a girl with a great website, techy knowledge, and a reading list that includes Techcrunch, The Verge, Boing Boing, and Brain Pickings. :D

I'd read every single word. The sluttier, raw, honest reality the better. Include everything except names, that would be hot.

Guys always say, "if i were a chick I'd be a whore"

....well here is your chance guys, to know what its like to be a female with a nice rack, a durable and sweet vag, round heels, and the love of getting pounded repeatedly by whomever shows up at the door with a hard one and the donation.

Guys, just think if you could actually fuck all day and get paid!

Live vicariously

I've seen a couple of blogs which I thought were fascinating, but my overall impression of blogs is that most tend to be boring.

I agree.

I believe that blogs aren't in ladies' best interests because they can actually turn potential clients off. There are a lot of ladies out there who aren't mature, stable, or discreet. Blogs reveal these personality quirks.

Examples:

There's one lady out in Vegas who blogs a lot about her personal life. Last year, she announced her upcoming retirement for personal/family reasons. 7 months later, she reversed course and said that she wouldn't retire after all. She has also blogged about her dating exploits and her breakup with her bf. She now tweets about how lovely her bf is. She's about 40 years old by the way. Too flighty and immature for me.

There's a lady out in the Midwest who tweets a lot about legalizing the hobby and other various social causes. She's also quite argumentative in general and has gotten kicked off another review site for her behavior. Normally, I could care less about her political views. But as a client, I do care if her views play a role in drawing extra LE attention. LE in her town set up a sting at her incall and arrested her earlier this year. That's not a shining example of discretion.

I wouldn't read anyone's blogs. And if I plan to see a lady and she doesn't have a website.. I'm not interested either.
