Posted April 9, 2013 So, I had a scheduled appointment this past Sunday (booked 3 days earlier), and my chosen provider canceled on me an an hour 1/2 before our scheduled tryst. I hold no ill will against the provider (we have rescheduled at a reduced rate). My issue is with trying to find another provider on very short notice for a small window of time. If you did not have a rescheduled appointment at a reduced rate, would you hold ill will against the provider? It never hurts to have a backup plan. It may be a compromise, but that's usually more fun than trying to get a last minute replacement appointment. Posted April 9, 2013 Rosey always has good specials running......but she just isn't as much fun as she used to be. Seriously, I never have any luck planning in advance and so I usually set-up most visits same day anyway. I often have 2,3,4 back up plans, just in case. I understand it's a necessary evil (for both parties), but if it goes sideways for you, you could have easily scheduled something with another lady on said day. Like others have said, peruse EB or visit an AMP as a good second option. The fact that the lady cancelled 90 minutes prior speaks volume!
