  1. Earlier today I met with an amazing new to the game provider. Her service and professionalism and enthusiasm blew me away. Afterwards she was asking me about where to advertise and I mentioned that most of the professional/providers that take their services seriously can be found on the other board. She told me she tried to get signed up as a provider but she needed references/vouchers from individuals who are already on here. How can i go about providing a reference for this lady? I appreciate your time thanks
  2. Safety Again

I believe I made a topic of this before but I’m going to do it again. Ladies don’t reach out for a reference and get rude when you’re counting on me for your safety, which is dumb in the first place. I understand the reason for references. But for the people who are gullible, regulars harm/kill/rob the girl’s they’ve been seeing for years too. I will NOT vouch for someone I’ve seen once, twice or even 3 times! Not to mention that I don’t keep notes and I travel internationally as well. Do you know how many numbers that is I have to look through? Don’t tell other providers what they should do. You work your way, I will work mine. I would NEVER put my safety in the hands of a female I’ve never met before! There is nothing wrong with references, I’m just saying I don’t do them because I’m always going to stay on my peas and cues! Y’all are crazy vouching for a guy you seen once or twice. That man could be having a bad day and rob/rape/beat the next girl that you vouched and told her he was OK for. I won’t have that on my conscious. Scared money don’t make no money and all money ain’t good money. This is elementary! Y’all know this! Occasionally, if I’m not doing anything, I will do a reference for a provider but nobody should be using me as a reference. I reviewed and verified, get his handle see if he’s reviewed me and go off that. Stay safe everyone sn: I probably could’ve worded this better but, I don’t appreciate when ladies reach out and catch a attitude.
  3. I’ve been noticing a lot of late reference requests. I for one have a terrible memory so someone trying to ask for a reference will not work for me months later. Even the brief little descriptions are no help . Hopefully no one takes offense for the denials but I’m sure you understand. Please try to keep them in a timely fashion. I mean if you’re going to wait a whole 30 days why even bother 🤷🏼‍♀️
  4. Client References

Hello can anyone help me figure out how to make my client references that I have given on TOB not private?
  5. Newbie

Hey everyone. I’m new here and would like to gather some references. so any newbie friendly providers out there. let me know .
  6. So like the title says . I’m new and one thing I’ve noticed is providers want references. I completely understand, the only issue is, how do I get references . If everyone needs them, I have no way of getting them in the first place .
  7. Hi All, with everything happening and the possible shut down of our beloved site, I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to keep/store/save our references received from providers... I am sure you will agree is one of the most precious things we have, specially for folks new to the hobby.
  8. Hi all, been doing this for a while now, started on BP but had way too many bad experiences so I just use TOB now. Since it's not really spelled out clearly anywhere (that I can find) how exactly do references work for providers that require them? There are a few I would love to see but I'm unsure of how the process works exactly.
  9. Renewing References

I'm curious, is there any way to renew you references on TOB if you have seen a provider more recently than the original reference shows?
  10. Folks, Here is the situation. Help me judge if I am being crazy. Had a provider ask for my real name and info, then mentioned that she will need to "verify" my ID (driver's License) to confirm my identity "for her safety" prior to the start of our session. I replied that I would be glad to comply if she were willing to do the same. Her immediate response was that we obviously "incompatible" and asked me not to contact her again. Does this seem excessive? I know that this forum can be brutal, but call it as you see it, folks!
  11. Questions from a newbie

I'm a newbie to hobbying, and I have been wondering the best way to approach a provider. I have no references yet as I am totally new. Any thoughts or recommendations of providers who are comfortable with newbies?
  12. Hello, newbie alert!

Hello TOB, Brand new here but had a couple questions if anybody would be willing to answer them for me. I was over on the ECCIE forums (have had an account over there for a very long time but never posted, different username) and while looking through the provider ads and also the review sections it was said that TOB was the place for Colorado users as ECCIE is hugely popular in Texas but not up here as much. So I am thankful to the post referring me this way to a more engaged meeting spot. One of the things I have noticed from several providers (the ones who actually have great reviews and seem like real legit people) is that they require usually 2 references at the minimum. Well for a newbie this obviously proves a problem when the top tier want to be cautious, and the newbies want to make sure they too are cautious. I have never used a provider before but have been lurking for years and finally want to get into this hobby. Any advice from seasoned members for newbies on how to secure a couple great references safely? Next question, is there a list of what a lot of these acronyms mean? I have been able to google/figure some of them out, but a list pinned to the forums would be wonderful. The reviews guys leave are immensely helpful but as a newbie to the lingo it can be hard to decipher what exactly was done. Looking forward to spending lots more time on here getting to know people, and eventually popping my hobby cherry!
  13. Blacklisted?

I don't know if this is an appropriate question but is there any way to see if someone is being "blacklisted" (for lack of a better term) by TOB providers. Seems a gent never had problems securing a date before recently....now the last two he's contacted have said "No thanks" without giving a reason. On top of it, he's given nothing but good reviews so something is amiss. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
  14. Hi everybody and particularly to those that might remember me from my much more active days (prior to 2014)! I have been away from the area but not the hobby, having worked in another state for about one year and then recovering from that. It would be great to be able to start having fun again out here (NoCo). Problem is (I think) I have no references on TOB since I have not followed the TOB changes and my last p411 OK was about February this year, in another state. Sadly most of my P411 OKs are from ladies that have retired. How big a problem are these things going to be with providers out here these days? Which count more now, P411 OKs, TOB references, or something else? Thanks in advance for the help and I apologize if these things have been covered in various threads here and there. Looking forward to getting back in action. Nairobi08
  15. When giving a reference for you.........

Gentlemen, just a friendly reminder on you wanting us to give you a good reference. This happened to me the other day. I had a provider request a reference on a client. She gave me his full name but no p411 number or any other way to remember him. The last name did nothing for me. And right off of the top of my head I can think of at least 6 different Steve's, or Tom's, or Daves. So guys, if you want a good reference from my sisters or I, you have to give us a way to remember you. Especially if it has been six months or longer since we have seen you. I love to give out a reference to a sister. It in a way works like a good review does. It is a win/win situation for those involved, that is, ....if I can remember just who you are. If I can't, then I can not give you that good reference you so deserve from me.
