NYC Review Board?

14 posts in this topic

Hi,

Long time listener, first time caller. I have not hobbied in years, but am looking at an upcoming trip to NYC, thought I might see if I could find something interesting there. A perusal of backpage shows millions of obvious scams. Is there a reputable review board such as TOB for that area which I could post a ISO on? I would prefer something that did not take credit cards as I would not like my personal information to be in the next ashley madison style data dump.

Thanks in advance!

I know there are many opinions on this, but I have found TER to useful when travelling to other areas.

You might try GFEclub.com. I've never used it myself, but I've seen it referenced by posters on Eccie and TNA.

Wish I could afford the rates in NY then! But besides the girls in NYC being much higher than here (though if they visit NJ it seems their rates are reasonable?), I'm sure those sugar babies are talking stupid amounts :( . Some of the articles on the ones from NYC certainly say it's so! But I guess even if we're talking crazy like $10k a month, I'm sure there are plenty of people that wouldn't mind spending $100k a year when they can "lease" a different model at any time and not lose half their money on alimony!

I was chatting with a provider from NYC on Twitter and she posted a screenshot of her BackPage payment. At the time (which was a few months ago) it was almost $140 a day to advertise on BP.  Crazy.

10k isn't entirely unreasonable either, it seems like it is but the math behind it is pretty simple.

Heck, $10K a month in NYC is low middle class income. Decent hotels start at $350 a night and one bedroom apartments start at $3 grand and a pack of cigarettes is +$18 (I've seen homeless guys fighting over a 2" butt on the street).

Come to papa!

If you're going to NYC it's like going to a Broncos or Rockies game. You're gonna pay thru the nose for everything. However, you can always take a train over to Jersey. I've been escorted by some very fine ladies there for less than $300 that I dug up on BP.  Just be sure and do the requisite homework. When I was back there last year there was a regional review site but I can't find it now.

Not to stray too far off topic but last summer I spent a week "touring" Seattle and Belleview. Six nights in a hotel and all my expenses sans airfare (paid for by someone else) cost me 3k. It was ludicrous. $75 to get from the airport to my first hotel in Belleview which was $300 a night, another $50 in transportation to get from Belleview to Seattle. It was cheaper to hire a car than it was to call a cab. Food, transportation and cigarettes were outrageous. I don't know how any providers in areas like NYC, Seattle, Chicago and San Francisco survive on rates less than $300. In terms of expenses Denver is headed that way too.

On the plus side I did find a great little hotel in Seattle with decent rates and a great location if anyone is interested. I wouldn't recommend it for business but for pleasure it was a perfect hotel at the bottom of the Queen Anne neighborhood.

I cannot comment on reviews in NYC.  I can, however, comment on the numerous body rubs (+) in NYC.  Yes, a few more bucks, but they come to your room, and I've batted probably 80%.  There is serious opportunity there!  Good luck.

10k/mo Isn't too much there, but it's more than I've taken home many a year! I daresay it's more than at least half the people on the site take home! On the other hand, if I were making a million a year I'd certainly have no problem with one or 2 all the time. Cheaper than marriage if you ask Paul McCartney! But really, who did you know in school that pulled down $120k a year?

In school? Or in general. You're average provider could do it fairly easy, if they stayed focused. A sugar baby in college probably doesn't make that in cash but more in goods like cars, rent paid, cell phones, vacations. Things that can be charged and paid for later or just paid up front so there is no cash trading hands. Sugar babies are different but it's not exceptionally hard to make that much in a year in cash and goods.

There are 365 days in year, duh, and it takes 600 sessions at $200 a piece to make $120. It's not as hard as it seems as long as you're willing to hustle.

" Manhattan's average weekly wage during the year ending in the first quarter of 2015 was more than two and a half times the national average—$2,847compared to $1,048. Queens led the four other New York City boroughs with average weekly wages of $936.Nov 25, 2015 "

http://www.bls.gov/regions/new-york-new-jersey/news-release/countyemploymentandwages_newyorkcity.htm

Manhattan wages are substantially higher than most in the nation. Average yearly wage is well above $120,000.

Cost of living is much higher, too!     https://www.nerdwallet.com/cost-of-living-calculator/city-life/new-york-manhattan

Well, I took my trip, and after doing my research, I selected [Snip}. I have to say I was not disappointed. In fact, I cannot imagine a better hobby experience. Thank you, pfunk, the link to gfeclub was the clue I needed.
