Teasers or Pleasers?

22 posts in this topic

Hello there beautiful people of TOB!

So, I have a friend who is a stripper, I'm a provider. She feels her profession is more respectable then mine because she "dances" on a stage, but she willingly goes the "extra mile" in the VIP room. My profession, however, is pretty straight forward. I told her that regardless of her view about herself, Own who you are because society still labels us both whores. She's a teaser, im a pleaser and I own it but does she honestly get a pass, HONESTLY TOB???

Ladies & Gents your opinion? Gents if you had to choose between a Stripper as a Girlfriend & a Provider as a Girlfriend, which would you choose?

She's currently giving me the silent treatment because I called her a "closet hoe" LMFAO

No woman has any right to judge any one.  There is no difference whatsoever.  Regardless we are using our bodies and sex appeal to earn money. She gets no pass at all especially considering how hard most strippers have to work to earn the kind of money providers do and for a lot less work.  There is no hustle in a providers  game. Men know what they are getting themselves into and choose us.  Where as a striper may have to ask several men before she finds a VIP  date.  Most strippers work many hours to make what providers do in an hour.  It's all the same.

PS I don't like teasers unless it's Raoul!

In my humble opinion:

The stripper is dishonest.  She, and the institution she works for, earns money  from lonely and/or horny guys on the basis of the hinted-at-promise of sexual release and intimacy.  A promise that is rarely honored.

The adult service provider is honest.  While she, too, earns money from lonely and/or horny guys, she actually delivers the product, many times far exceeding what the guy actually thought he wanted.

You tell your stripper friend that, anytime she wants to reclaim her integrity, she can come work with you.

This is a long standing battle between sex workers. It's less about dishonesty and more about perception, strippers in the eyes of many are better than service providers because they don't do what a service provider does. It's an ingrained belief. Both strippers and service providers fall for the BS now and then. BackPage and the reactions it inspires are a great example of how we put down our peers and have fallen for the belief that some sex workers are better than others.

Teasing is not dishonest, grinding on your dick to make cash is how they do their job. The only dishonest person in the strip club is the dude who lied to himself and believed that there could be more than just a tease. The friend in question doesn't get a pass for being rude to her friend but there is no easy answer.

Sometimes there is more. As the OP said, her friend goes the extra mile in the VIP room. That's why it can be hard for some guys to quit chasing strippers. If after a couple hundred in private dances and hundred more in shots for her and her friends, she unzips your pants and goes to town, a guy can feel like he's a big ballin playa and really scored.  Of course his ROI is way better with a straight up pros, and he may even know that, but there's just something about bagging a stripper or getting one to leave the club with you that is a real rush.

Angela Aspen used to say the only difference between a stripper and hooker was thirty pounds.

I used to frequent these clubs, but have given that up since finding the hobby.  Don't know if I would characterize the teaser as being dishonest, but I would certainly prefer being pleased over being teased.

Tell her that she is basically being pimped out! Tip the house, tip the house mom, tips DJ, tip the valet, tip the bartender... And I'll bet her knees are blacker than shit when she gets home from crawling around the stage for all those one dollar bills. She is doing it wrong.

Sure there are those who do "more" but they're the exception not the rule. I just don't really see it as deceptive if a guy wanted a sure thing he would see a provider some guys like tease and the chase. A dancer has a different sort of hustle and should be regarded differently but still as sex work.

Rule number one never waste your time worrying about what other people think. She is a grown adult. She should act like one. If she acting like that, find another friend who doesn't get butt hurt.

I clearly understand why some workers are more comfortable dancing as opposed to escorting. One is fully legal and for an unknown reason carries less social stigma. I on the other hand I. have more respect for those that deliver more than just an illusion I don't feel like there is dishonesty with those that simply choose to dance....the game is well understood on both sides. I just think that those that deliver more than just the illusion are perhaps more honest with themselves.  JMO

I'd much rather be with a genuine provider.  I wish I had back all the money I wasted in strip joints.  Perhaps your friend is jealous.

Not sure what the "extra mile" is but if it involves causing a guy to cum (with or without contact!!) in exchange for monetary gain then she is exactly what she looks down upon you for.  Major denial.  But neither deserves to be to be disrespected for the service provided.  I am extremely grateful to any of the special ladies willing to do amazing things to/with me. Put me down for cherish, not look down on.

Stripping is expressive artistic conduct protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.  There is no higher calling than exercising your constitutional rights that so many have given their lives for.

On the other hand, providing mind blowing orgasms is God's work.
